Rory smiles at Lig and looks at the console too,he hopes that there won't be any trouble out there.

"That good to hear captain,I hope so too."

backstory:ENTIRE family wiped out during the assault by the unknown aliens, exists solely to seek revenge on the aliens. he has suspended his "contract" with lig so that he continue to serve.

Wraith steps onto the bridge and after glancing around, leans casually on the bulkhead. he turns his head and, eager to engage in combat, turns his head to lig, "Any signs of them captain?"

"Nope not as of yet but the day is young. Who knows what we'll end up finding." Lig told him looking back at you with a sigh.

Rory looks at Lig.

"Sir,is there anything you want me to do sir?"

(oh lig, you might want to post details on a.) the ship [ i dont want to be screaming to fire the railgun only to find out the ship u designed has only lasers and missles] and b.) the unknown alien race. yeah its unknown but someone needs to have at least seen it. we really cant rp a fight if we dont even know what it looks like. if you do want to make it mysterious, make the details vague)

Lig leaned back and looked at the screen by his chair. "Yes you can. The second planet in this system. I'm picking up something in orbit. Do a detailed scan of it. I've got a bad feeling about this." Lig said looking at his data screen. "Wraith if my hunch is right you might just have a chance to fight today."

Rory looks at Lig and salutes Lig.

"Yes sir,where do I go sir,this is my first day here sir."

(Rory we've been on this ship for a while now. Your character should know his way around.)

"OH that's right. First time on the bridge. The operations station just over there." Lig said pointing to it.

(Sorry,you're right.)

"Thank you sir."

Rory goes to the operation station and does an scan of whatever that's in orbit.

Wraith smiles a wide, slightly crazy grin. he undoes his laser carbine from its 3 point sling and checks it before loading a new powerpack into it,snapping it in with an audible click. he then presses a black button on the handle and the gun hums to life, an aiming laser shooting out a thin blue beam from under the barrel. he then reaches up and pushes a button on his helmet, and a green H.U.D. screen pops out, also humming as it goes thru its diagnostic routine* lets do this. he hefts his rifle into the ready position. full of adrenaline, he turns to rory and even though its not protocal (he should be going thru lig, as lig is captain), he asks directly "got anything yet?"

(apt description of wraith when encountering the aliens:

"Yes he does. I get the sensor data too. It's a them. The Vackalay. The ones that destroyed our world. It's a Fighter carrier. Not the most heavily armed but it's got a big crew and a good compliment of pilots. Not to mention boarding craft." Lig said as he looked over the sensors "Looks like they're launching boarding craft only. Probably wanna take the Destiny as a trophy."

(Vackalay are my lil name from the aliens in one of the Jack comic story arcs. Here's a link to a comic with one.)

Rory looks and sees the fighter carrier and pushes his com badge.

''Sir,I think we have company."

wraith churrs with excitement and rocks back and forth on his heels. he reaches up and presses a button on the side of his helmet, activating his com systems. "Wraith to all security teams, code Alpha Omega Zeta. he has incoming hostiles, i repeat, incoming hostiles. boarding craft mostly, but there might be some independent light fighters just out of sensor range, plus a confirmed report of a fighter carrier, probably carrying a mix of heavy fighters and ship to ship bombers. suit up and grab your gear. make sure all airlocks are secure. theyre probably going to try and cut their way in, but we still dont want to leave any barn doors open as an invite. fighters squadrons, prepare to launch. armerment should probably consist of a mix of plasma lasers and hunter-killer missles, type-192. thats right, type-192, we're not taking any chances with these guys" he switches to his own private squad channel. "get out of your bunks boys, this is our time to shine." finally he listens to replies from the security teams. "Teams 1-19 are ready, he relays to lig, but somethings gone wrong with squad 20. theyre were the front lines when the first ship latched. theyre cut off from the armory, and all they have is pistols and light munitions."
