*A smokey room, a dimly lit stage, Max arrives dressed in all black, turtleneck sweater with his thin dark glasses placed on the end of his muzzle, a beret, black as well. He steps up to the mic and silence falls...*

Listen close, quiet down
The voices whisper all around
You can’t see, but do you hear?
The voices far, the voices near

The ghostly notes, unseen singing
Soft and dull, the voice is ringing
A faint whisper through your head
As soft as pillows, as heavy as lead

The voices sounding
Repeating, Astounding!
You can’t understand a single word
But the entire story is clearly heard

Why are there no faces to this song?
No imagery to carry on
The voices come from corpses rotten
Behold the song of the Forgotten

Listen to the beat of the street
Listen to the sound pound
Look around, find no one there
No not here, not anywhere

Just to save them, no one tries
Broken dreams, severed ties
Don’t want to believe the lies
Want someone to hear their cries

Forgotten, those who were loved and cared
Now alone, hungry, and scared
No one there to feed their souls
Their eyes hollowed to empty holes
