| Since I seem to be always posting these kinds of items I thought I'd start a thread so I don't clutter the forums with them. Anyway... Anyone else love Paddington Bear? He turns 50 on June 25th! http://www.cbc.ca/arts/books/story/2008/06/02/paddington-bear.html?ref=rss I grew up reading his books. He looks good for a middle-aged bear don't you think? |

I thought this might be of interest since some of our fellow Fur Denners are at AC this year. Apparently we're worth $2.5 million to the city of Pittsburgh! |

| And at the risk of double posting, here's this year's fursuit parade. It's split into two vids since it runs so long. Apparently there were about 540 fursuiters this year.

| In some ways, I guess it's kind of like going to the movies, only a lot more interactive. Enjoyment depends on whether you see something you like or not. |

| Not so much Furry, but relevant to anyone using E-mail: http://www.ic3.gov/media/2008/080730.aspx
Yep, the Storm Worm is back. Be careful not to get your computer hijacked. |

| Great... more hackers as if that huge scam I sent you a neomail about wasn't already enough.
I still find it weired that someone would be that desprate to steal accounts to that they would build that. Theres no real money on neopets that can be obtained just pets that some people have strong emotinal attachment to. |

| There are people who'll do something like that just because they can. It's not about getting anything of value, it's about inflating their ego. Think of the people who ping websites and crash them, or vandalize them and compromise user accounts. What do they gain? Nothing. What could they lose? Quite a bit if they're caught. Why do they do it? To feel like they're smarter than other people.
In this case, however, the hijacked computers are likely being used for spam mailing. |

So it's their job to punish people who obsess about the internet?
I'll say it again, sounds like a superiority complex to me. |

Gimme a break, I know you're not dumb enough to think I'm using the word "job" literally.
And, yes, I am generalizing, although it's hard to imagine a circumstance in which destroying someone else's hard work is ever acceptable. LOLs isn't an excuse for vandalism. |

Totally agreed, LULZ is never an escuse....I honestly think all that trolling vandalism is retarded, done by those who think cruelty is funny, which is wrong. Honestly, I do not understand whats funny about it anyways...its like foriegn to my mind._________________ |
