sooo tired ;_; *dies*

SOoooooo.... I had to pull an all nighter to get 2 projects done that I put off to last day and at midnight. I am still working at them at 7:30am, and my bus comes in 1hr and I haven't gotten to sleep at all. Has anyone else done something like this before? xD.

P.S. I hope I don't colapse at school

Don't worry Pae, you'll be fine I have done this many times...actually...almsot every time, hehehe. I always vowed to start early, but I always had to work all night. However, I always handed them in, so I guess I wasn't as disorganized as I thought I was.

I finished the two projects Dx, they were a 4 min video, and a 20min video (with voiceovers(at 5am xD)). But.... I got off 30min before my bus came to sleep for that 30 min.... that was a bad idea, I didnt wake up, or only for a second when my alarm clock went off, and then fell immedeatley back to sleep X_X.. I hope i don't get in trouble with my teachers, or loose points or sumthin, cause I actually put work into those projects.. sorta.. else I wouldnt have been up to 7:30am working on em Dx.. Well I know my mom will excuse this absence so my teachers cant realy say anything, so I should be fine.. I hope.

I'm only in grade 11, I hope I don't think I will do the same thing when I get to post secondary, and I think I will have a better work ethic, but I've been saying that every grade since like grade 3 lol

Ouch... Yeah. It's incredible how hard it can be to get started on a project.

Lately what I've started doing, is I have this white board in my room and I write all the homework I have to do that night. When you see that the thing is nearly full, it makes one's pile of work feel that much bigger.

Also, I have a big white sheet of paper with "Do NOT procrastinate!" written in big all over it and it's on the wall right in front of me when I start slacking off.

It worked for a week and then... well, at least I do my work a tiny bit earlier than I used to. I never actually not slept, but the latest I've ever went to bed at was 3 in the morning.

I'm sure it'll be fine with your teachers. Just don't tell them you were up so late to work on them. Then they won't appreciate. If it's just oversleeping, well, probably happens to all of us once in a while XD.

But... did you not go to school at all or just go late?

I was doing a project for physics (a work/power lab(W=F*d)(P=W/t)) and a math project for Rubik's Cubes (20min)

Man...I feel so dumb, all you guys seem to be taking smart people classes

Heehee, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has no idea what that physics equation means...

well Work = Force * distance. F// actually (Force parallel). In my lab, I was running up stairs and calculating the amount of work and power that were exherted after, by measuring the distance of the stairs, timing myself, and finding my F// (which in this case is Fg (mass * gravity)).

So you multiply your mass in kilograms(m) * 9.8 (gravity(g)), to get your F//. And then you measure the distance of what you are doing (in meters(d)).

After you have your F// and your distance, you just multiple the numbers together to find your Work (which is measured in Joules(pronounced 'jewls')).

After you have your Work, then it's really easy to find your power. You just divide the number that you got for work by the time it took you to move the whole distance.

Really, the hardest part of those 2 equations is the first part of Work (Force) which only needs 2 number, your mass and the acceleration of gravity which is a constant (9.8m/s^2).

Ah. You must be doing a slightly different program then.

So far, what I did in Physics was vectors, equilibrium and trajectories... have you done optics yet?

We already finished vecotrs and trajectories etc., we are past motion, projectiles, acceleration, energy, work/power, friction, forces on a system. Now we are moving into energy lost in friction

ya, and that is in the span of a couple months, terms are only 3-4months long, and we are coming into the last month of the term, then exams.
