| In the Chamber A little room, a little chair A sodden boy, a sadden stare He sits alone, on his own A heart of gold…a face of stone In his empty room, our little mourner Cries alone in his corner The door is locked, the dark is thick The room is cold, the wind is quick The boy you see, so forlorn Who is he? What does he mourn? Why does he sit? And not go free? I’ll tell you why, because that boy is me. I sit alone inside my room It is my salvation, it is my tomb I sit inside, and hide away No desire to run or play Feeling so broken down Feeling so very out of place My deepest sorrows stain my face And with my fingers, my life I trace Stuck inside a world I hate Stuck inside this loveless state Saved so many from breaking down Now I’m plummeting to the ground You can’t imagine how a feel A pain so sharp, a pain so real I close my eyes, I cannot see Now as I fall….I wonder… Who will be there to save me?
