| A friend of mine has decided that he is going to leave the furry fandom as well as the babyfur community. mainly becuse how some furs treated him, and that is all about sex for most furs in the fandom at large.
Also he said that babyfurs are only after what they desire. Now i would like to think that we in our community are after more then a sexual fix, and so on.
I have nothing against any one on the forum if that is what they are after, i just want to know that. There are other furs/babyfurs that arn't just our for a sexual fix.
But there is no doubt that the conversation made me worried, im not saying that im going to leave the fandom or the community that has welcomed me so warmly. I just wanted to voice my concerns.

| I really think its sad when people want to ex-communicate with a group, but gah! >.<
He is wrong though, babyfurs in the general definition are not only here for the sexual gratification. I know definitions are different for everyone, but its a very vague general statement. As those like me know, some people are misidentified as babyfurs on a regular basis, giving us really bad stories to tell. Sometimes they are "cub" lovers, or extreme feteshists...and sometimes its just self lableing gone bad...
I know you are concerned, as am I, about this constant rhetoric. Its diminishing slowly, but for now we have to deal with people saying "Your a baby fur, so don't you like Softpaw?" *sigh* For now, i will continue to correct people's mistakes, but I know its a losing battle...Don;t lose hope though, in the end, its all stupidity

| Ah Yeah. Well I know I'm not here simply for a sex kick. Frankly that aspect isn't important to me. It's sad when people make sweeping generalizations about things. I mean I count myself a furry and babyfur but I don't really like Yiff stuff. For me it's about the emotional aspect of simply being close to others and the aspects of feeling little again.
I agree with Sirius. Don't loose hope. There will always be people with stupid ideas or preconceptions out there.

| Sadly, its a stereotype given to us babyfurs because everyone tends to focus on the bad because some just hate and sad but true there are babyfurs like that out there that want nothing but their kinks desired. But, those of us who are wanting to improve our image have to stick together and remain strong no matter the cost. I will admit that I do get some pleasure out of this but I dont ask everyone for sex or anything. So, Drake tell your friend that we will stand behind any decision but he always has a place to come to if he changes his mind^^ | |

| There are some furs who has sexual inspirations like Cargo, but most of us think of it in the background, because most of us babyfurs and in bigger title, furs, do not do sex. He is wrong about the sex thing.
Your concerns are great, but your heart of your fur is greater. Keep in mind that the fur is place in your heart and the fur will never go away. Your friend also has a fur in his heart, he can leave, but the fur can not leave him.
