Snow

Since Grand Forks finally got its snow, I'm wondering how everyone feels about said precipitation. Just generally go ahead and talk about your thoughts on snow. Any thoughts at all.

Personally I myself can enjoy snow. The only reason I won't miss it when I eventually end up in Phoenix (that's my plan anyways) is cause when I was in Nebraska and Wisconsin, there was usually too much to play in and now here, it gets too cold to enjoy the snow.

Well when it comes to the snow I have a love hate relationship with it. On one hand it's so pretty and nice and it just makes it feel like Christmas time. Plus it is fun just to play in. But on the flip side it gets damn cold. Ice happens and I'll eventually end up slipping on it. And the slush just sucks. Not to mention the snow drifts on the side of the road that you have to step in to get out of your car.

That said I'm still looking forward to our first good snow. ^^

I like snow...but I hate the cold alot, makes my MD work up a little so I get stiff and stuff hurts, and I fall down more x.x I also hate winter driving and deadly blizzards! Snow is good tho...if I can even move in it o.o

I love snow and love to tunnul in drifts or snowbanks whenever I can but I do hate cold, snow and cuddles are the only reasons I can ever really put up with cold for very long.

Yay snow! Heehee, I love snow in theory, it's just a bit sad that I can't play with it in real life, because I've got bad knees and I tend to slip and horribly injure them if I go out in the snow. But it's fun to watch from the window, anyway... ^.^

We got some today. Snow- Ice that stayed on the ground not melting.

Down here they pretty much predicted recently that we have a 43 percent chance of snow on Xmas.

We WERE supposed to get snow today/yesterday but the temps were too high for it.

At some point all the rain though will change to snow or we will be in a drought like we were for November.

I now has snow. It's the thick wet kind that will probably melt before too long. Looks pretty though. But Ug I hate when it melts and gets slushy.

They just reported that there is a huge Alberta clipper mucking up the west right now.

By Wed the snow totals here are being estimated anywhere between 6 and 16 inches.

But I like it when its all splaty! Its fun to walk with big hard steps jumping from foot to foot and make big craters as you travel with your foot print in the middle!

Thats also the kind that makes really great snowmen or forts because it sticks together then freezes itself.

i love snow. but it snows so rarely down here in north carolina that our whole town shuts down for even a light dusting XD speaking of which..... its supposed to snow in the next couple days =^_^= -evil cubby chuckle-

I laugh at towns like that. I know I'm going to get some wierd looks when I get to Phoenix and I'm wearing a T-shirt in the winter.

It was supposed to snow yesterday for me...But I shoulda known better, it doesn't snow in Georgia =[
