| Hello my fellow cute, crinkly, and furry friends! I made this thread because apparently the furrden hasn't been very active recently which is starting to bother some people, and so to help remedy this I decided to make something like this. Anyway this thread is pretty much about what you guys like so much about this holiday, and also about what you're hoping to get for say presents, or get for somebody else. Anyways personally I like Christmas so much because it's the perfect time of year to interact with my family, and because I like the presents so much. =3 So what do you guys think? What's your favorite part of this holiday? | |

| I really despise Christmas. Not because of the holiday itself, but what happened a couple years ago. I don't want to explain it, but people like Sirius know.
I really do hope everyone has a great Christmas, and maybe mine will be good this year I hope.

| Ah. I love christmas. The specials on TV, the snow, the fond memories and of course the gifts. Not so much the gifts anymore though as well my christmases have consistently been going downhill in that department.
But it's still nice and what with me being able to get better gifts for family with my own money it's been nice shopping for people around the holiday season.

| I'd love to say "Christmas is like marmite... you either love it or hate it." but i kinda love and loave (spelling) it at the same time.
I love that fact all the family will get together and this year we will have a new addition to the family to join in with the festivities as well. i love the competition as me and my cousin try to out do each other in once of our annual baking competitions to make the best Xmas cake. im not intrested in the presents but it's nice to see everyone happy and rising a glass in the pub at lunchtime to another xmas and a toast to absent loved ones
but... i at the same time i hate buying gifts that time of year, stores are practically at war with the public, people who are usually civilised become barbaric as the hunt for gifts for their family. i hate how Xbox live gets filled by children playing rated 15+ games their parents got them despite warnings against it. selfish people purchase all the vital supplies like salt for when the pathways get slippy without considering other people need it as well. while i like to see my family i don't want to see my aunts side of her family... they are what we yorkshire people call '10 bob millionaires', they don't have a penny/cent to their names but act and talk like they are better than everyone else. my grandparents only get to see their children and their grandchildren (and this year... great grandchild) all in one place together once a year. we don't imposed on them when they want some time to them selves. yet they always impose on my grandmothers only day she sees everyone related by blood not by paper. i hate how the religious fanatics begin harassing you everyday always knocking right when you are about to chow down or the chavs and hoodlums banging on your door and singing xmas songs without actually knowing the lyrics so they can buy their cheap cider and cigarettes
despite how it looks i still kinda look forward to it... i think Xp

| I open my presents on Christmas Eve. I can't stand Christmas day. I hate it. I'm not sure if anyone here knows why, but I just can't stand it. Long story short; My Dad is an ass.
