| [LETS BREATHE SOME LIFE INTO THIS FORUM!] War. War never changes. Since the nuclear bombs fell in 2077, the world burned with atomic fire, and radiation. Those who survived it, lived in underground bunkers known as vaults.... The others either perished in the fire, or survived. When the vaults began to open, they had only the aftermath to greet them, a world, only now is a wasteland of radiation, raiders who kill for pleasure, and vicious mutants... There are those who still thrived in the wasteland, coming together in small communities, working together to rebuild this fallen world... There are few who got together to form alliances, such as the Brotherhood of Steel, NCR, or the evil Enclave... Those who survive, fight, stick together, or wander, because war. War never changes... It is now 2399 The wasteland is starting to show more signs of life. There are more survivors popping up, and peace is starting to blossom. Although, a strange virus seems to have broken out from the ruins or remains of the Enclave, spreading through the wasteland, but affecting very few. Those who are infected, don't seem to age. They age mentally, but not physically. They mature but their body stays the same. Most are immune to the virus, and the most infected, seem to be between the ages of 12-17. He currently resides in New Vegas, in the run down down of was once the proud Lucky 38. New Vegas still prospers without Mr. House, although the NCR took it over under their rule over 100 years ago. | Shax sat atop the Lucky 38, holding in his hands, his trusty Anti-Material Rifle. He had lived in the Lucky 38 for years after it was abandoned and sealed off, before he broke into it and started the power back on. He got into the cap reserves, having an endless supply of money now at his disposal. He wondered though, was it really worth it to continue to go on? He shook his head and climbed down, heading back inside before being greeted by his robotic caretaker. | |
