William noticed the expresion on Jamie's face. "Hey you ok?" He asked putting a hand on his shoulder.

Jamie shot up from where he slept, screaming, before falling back down and exhaling hard and slow, his heart beating like crazy.

"Wow calm down there buddy. You just had a bad dream." William siad in a calming voice he sometimes used on his EVA.

Jamie breathed heavily before looking at William. "I'm fine." he huffed, staring at the floor.

"Ok. Sounded bad what ever kind of dream you were having. Heck those kinds of dreams are to be expected doing what we do. I'd be lieing if I said I didn't have some damned scary dreams sometimes." William said recalling his own dreams.

"Not like these." he said staring at the floor some more before popping back up and grabbing his soda.

"True. I've heard rumors of you. I wouldn't be able to handle what you've seen quite as well." William siad taking a sip from his soda.

"Well, it's what I get for piloting an EVA that's pretty much an Angel unit on a leash." he said, taking a drink before pulling a small device from his pocket, similar to a cellphone.

"Yeah I've seen the specs on it. And I'm honestly suprised it's controled even to the degree it is. That must be extrodinarily taxing on your nerves." William siad having some understanding of it. "Whats that?" He asked looking at the cell phone thing.

"It's to wake me up in case I can't wake up from my nightmares." with that he handed it to Will.

"Oh I see. I've head of these in develpment but I didn't think they were out for public use yet." William siad looking it over cureously.

"That's the original model." he said, standing up and yawning, stretching and getting up.

"Really? Sweet. I was hoping to get a look at something like this. I heard rumors that it can record and replay dreams. Is that true?" William asked very interested.

"Oh yeah, forgot about that nifty little addition." he said to himself, then added, "thought I never thought about using it."

"You should try it. Maybe studieing your dreams while await and alert will help you get a better handle on them." William suggested.

Jamie laughed an uneasy laugh. "I'd rather not see my dreams any more than I have to."

"Well it's just a suggestion." William said leaning back.

"Thanks for putting forward nonetheless." he spoke, looking around the apartment. "Homey."

"Thanks. I did the best I could to give it that Home feel."William siad looking around at his place smiling.

"You got a place for me to sleep?" he asked suddenly, scratching his head.

"Sure I've got a spare room you can use." William siad pointing over to it. "Time has elapsed. EVA body units ready." Said the time on Will's watch.

"Good luck with that." Jamie said, waving his hand as he went into his new room.

"Sleep well." William said grabbing a bag of clothes for the new EVA body. He went back into the lab and did the mind transfer for his. "Hey Markus like the new body?" He asked heling up the now diminutive eva. It smiled with a fairly human face. Even if it didn't have a nose. It stood about 2 feet tall. Will helped it get dressed in a blue tshirt and some shorts. He walked it out to the living room and it looked around in awe.

Jamie poked his head from the doorway. "Weird little thing..."
