Soul in the Machine.

Ok it's the future. Robot tech's made leaps forward. You now have robots that are self aware. And over time they've gained human rights and even human abilies to propagate there species in a similar way. So here we go. You can have your robot resemble anything ya like. Sky's the limit. Now I'll allow a feel organics like furrs if ya want but I don't want everybody to be one ok. Anyway here I go.

Fox walked down the road humming along with the song playing on his lil built in radio. He was off to help out the local pet store. Apparently somebody changed the password to the computer system and forgot what they changed it too. Fox giggled at the silliness of it.

Fox saw the girl as he approached the store. "Hi there. If your looking to get a pet take your time in finding it. I need to fix there computer system before they can make any sales." Fox said walking up to her having to look up.

Yuffie was already in the pet store looking for a doggie

she kneels down to his level* i am karal i was sent here to get a pet and help with the computer system"

"Oh good. I thought I'd have to do this myself. Two people should take no time at all." Fox said smiling as they walked in. The Man at the counter moved to the side to let them work. The Tip of Fox's tail opened and a wire connected with the computer system. "Ok all we need to do is find out what the current system password is. I'll check recent memory and you check long term memory."

she nods and plugs a wire into a visor she ahd on and begins to scan the longterm memory&*

"Ok I found the old password. I'll check that. Now if we can find the current one we can change it back." Fox said as he continued on.

i found the new password, fox" she says

"Good. Type it in on the keyboard and then go into the profile and I'll change it back to the original." Fox said smiling.

she tpes ishryual on the key board and goes into profile*

Fox changes the password back to what it originally was. "There we're all done." Fox said unhooking himself. The shop owner thanked him. "Now for reason number two I came here. Find a pet!" Fox said excitedly.

she turns to look at the owner* :"sir what type of pet fo you remonned for someone of my age and species"

"Well a pet is an odd thing its not something I can recommend. It depends on your personality. Look around and see what ya like." The shop keeper said. Fox was already way ahead of him looking at all the pets.

she looks at a dog* i jyst dont know..........."

"Well I can offer some guidence. If ya don't have alot of space I'd pick a smaller breed." Fox said stopping a a pen full of lil fox kits. Fox himself staired at the cute lil critters and picked one up. It was blue and had while paws, tail tip, and belly. The lil kit yipped at Fox it's fluffy tail just a wagging. Fox grinned and hugged the lil kit. "I think I found my pet." Fox read the lable on the pen. "Gen Foxes. Awwwww. They don't get any bigger then this! Well that settles that lil buddy." Fox told the kit in his arms.

"Sure. Any particular color you want they got lots of em." He said as the lil kit snuggled up got him murring.

"Yep they've got a red one." Fox said smiling rocking his own kit in his arms. "Now what am I gonna name you." He asked the half awake kit.

she smiles and picks the red kit up* "hello vixy" she says to kit

"I know. How bout I name you Blue? It's simple and it fits ya." Fox said smiling as the lil kit nodded off in his arms.
