Nym could not help himself from laughing. "You did my job for me you idiot!" but as soon as the words left his lips, Nym felt a searing pain through his left wing. Roaring he realized the Warboss had gotten a lucky shot.

Nym collapsed on the deck and conjured his soul knife, knowing he'd have to face the warboss in hand to hand combat. Over the hoots and screams of the other Esoth, Nym could hear "Reactor Core detonation in 20 minutes evacuate immidiatly."

The Warboss bellowed in rage and then drew a large battle Axe and ran towards Nym at his top speed knocking the underlings out of the way as he went.

Nym held his position as the warboss charged. He knew that if he moved too quick or too slow he was dead, and with his wing out of commision...wait. An idea formed in his head. As the warboss closed in on him, Nym suddenly clapped his right wings and then stabbed into the warboss's flank.

The warboss let out a howl of pain, clearly surprised that a light could actually hurt him.

The Warboss shrieked as it's legs buckled under it. It's main nerve relay to the lower have of it's body had been severed. Meanwhile back on the surface Spencer sat down on some ruble looking things over. "Well this is gonna be quite a clean up." He said looking over the charred and mangled corpses.

Taking advantaged of the Warboss's pain and surprise, Nym twisted the blade and ripped out the entrails Warboss. Now with it dead, Nym turned and started for his own ship.

As he was about to leave, he stole a glance at the ships main viewscreen and gasped in horror. On the screen, there was a fleet of hundreds of Esoth ships, all of them headed for them.

Ignoring the new threat for now, Nym raced back to his fighter. Closing up the canopy, he gunned the engine, and escaped from the doomed ship, with only half a minute before it exploded.

Spencer was meanwhile in the computer center and opened up a com to Nym. "Nym what's going on. We're reading hundreds of ships at the systems edge. They're not moving in yet but they're there." Spencer said looking over the data.

(Remember I asked for some down time between. The first fleet and second. I've got a plan if ya let me use it.)

"This was only a scouting party." He hissed through the pain in his wing. "It's an armada, at least 300 ships, all of them the size of the command ship I just destoyed." He was loosing blood. "Tell the docs to get a gurney ready, the warboss got me in the left wing, I'm coming in..." He said as he started his approach through the atmosphere, but he was becoming dizzy. Flipping on his autopilot, he passed into a realm of black.

As the ship landed the medics got him out and started to patch up his wing and give him an nano med injection as they took him to a recovery room. Meanwhile Spencer was going over the system archives of the old days and found what he was looking for and then used the sensors to find out it was still were it was originally parked. "He Nym. You remember a ship from history called the Eternity?" He asked Nym as he started to stirr.

As Nym woke, he saw that he was hooked up to plenty of medical machines. His wing throbbed, but the pain was tolorable. When he heard Spencer, he nodded.

"Good. Cuz I think we can use the Eternity to stop this invasion fast. You remember the specifics of it?" Spencer asked seeing Nym was more awake.

"No, remind me again." he manages to say.

"The Eternity was the greatest starship ever built by the natives and our ancient ancestors. It was the ultimate vessel. It's said that it had the capability to conquer half the Galaxy and hold that ground all on it's own. And guess where they parked it. In the Corona of the sun. They turned off everything except the shields and parked it there. All we need to do is get a signal to it and bring it out. " Spencer said excitedly.

Nym laughed, "Hmm, that could work, but how do we know that the weapons systems or engines are still operational after all these centuries?"

"This vessel was made to last. But there is a problem. We need to get in close to the sun to send a signal to reach the ship through the interference and then it'll take the ship about 30 minutes to get back up toe speed." Specer said.

Nym sighed, "The Esoth armada will be here in less than 2 hours, and I can guarentee you that their numbers alone can overwhelm the walls if not stopped soon; and with me injured, I don't know how much help I'll be. But your idea seems the best course.

"Well I think it can be done in that amount of time. You might not be up to fighting strength. But do ya think you could pilot a small ship close enough to the sun so I can get the signal to the Eternity?" Spencer asked.

"Yeah, I think I can manage that." Nym said and rises from the hospital bed. He hissed in pain as he moved his wing but he knows he'll survive.

"Alright then lets use the time we have wisely." Spencer said leading Nym to the ship yard.

Both of them boarded an inflitrator class fighter. The ship was designed to insert covert agents into enemy ships that were disabled, considering the situation, Nym thought it a good choice. Once their preflight checks were finished and they were both secured inside they blasted off. Within a minute, they were in space.

"So what kind of weapons does this ship actually use?" Nym asked.

"Partical beam weapons, Rail Guns. Plasma Lances, Photonic cannons. Anti-matter projectiles. Titan Class nuclear missiles, And array of diffrent point defense turrets and ans several Nova bombs capable of destroying a star. It also has 2000 High level fighter craft in it's bays which can be used by pilots or remotely." Spencer said going over there fighter's shield s and com systems.

Nym could hardly believe all of this, "Ok, then how was it lost in the first place? If this ship is so powerful, how could the Rakon loose it like this?"

"They didn't loose it. They just parked it in the sun to keep prying eyes away from it. Hold it off in reserve in case it was ever needed. Although I don't think they were thinking there's be this kind of a time restraint." Spencer said shunting more power the shields. "Ok we're approaching the sun. I need you to get us into it's Coronasphere. Think you can do that?"

"Usually I try to avoid objects like a star, but yeah, I can get close enough. Let's just hope that the shields hold." Suddenly there's a beeping noise, a comm message was being transmitted.

"Black Alert, Black Alert!! Esoth warships engaging defense fleet!"

"Oh crap. Lets hurry." Spencer said starting up the high power transmitter as they got in close. "Ok we're entering the star's Corona. Signal is making contact now. Uploading access codes now." Spencer said keying in the commands.

Over the comm "Ground control, This is Admiral O'kasi! Esoth have launched drop pods...'static'...Too many to target!" He sounded paniced.

"How much longer?" Nym asked as his adrinaline started to rise.
