Showing Furriness

I've been in a community for a small bit of time now.

So now I was wondering, how many you have actually told anyone about your furriness? Is there maybe one person you've told as a secret? Or probably more numerous, who hasn't told anyone at all? And those of you who haven't said anything, are you trying your hardest to hide all signs of it?

I'll start. I haven't told anyone at all in real life. Not a person. But I have recently started showing my furry side... maybe even my babyfur side in one sense.

A little while ago I went into a mall and basically cruised for a few hours. Eventually I went into a book store (albeit a rather large one). I bought a movie (Terminator 2), a book on foxes and the whole reason why I actually went shopping, I got myself a small fox plushy.

So yeah, it was a few days... maybe a week now, but I've basically been carrying it around with me in the house. Like, wherever I go, it's with me. I still haven't had the guts to bring it out though. It's easier to tell your family it's just a little something for your hands to do, that's it's your way of dealing with some stress and that they can think of it as a small quiet pet (it's a non-morphic fox)

Parents haven't said anything so far. But I wonder if they're getting suspicious...

So, anyone? Living without shame? Told one or a few special people or simply no one? Showing signs?

I openly say I'm a furry, I howl, bark, scratch bhind my ear, and kick my leg, I whimper and have a good sense of smell and hearing, which I use often.

Yeah, I show all the signs^^ In my opinion theres no reason to put a filter on furry!

I haven't told anybody either but I do let my furr side hang out a lil. Like I usualy show my folks my art. I draw lots of non furr stuff. I've started showing them some of my furr stuff too. Nothing diapered but just regular furr stuff. I've been thinking about getting myself a new plushie sometime too.

I told two of my friends.

One of them only knows about me being a furry, the other one knows about me also being a babyfur/diaperfur.

*Sigh* Let's just say that it would have been wiser not to tell about me being a babyfur. I know my friend still likes me and all, but he occasionally mocks me about it.

The first guy though is a fur himself, needless to say it's easier to chat with him.

I've told a few of my close friends about being a fur, but no one about the babyfur part. As for my family, I don't know that I could ever tell them.

Eh My friends might have a suspicion because I showed em stuff on wika.
My family has seen my furry drawings. I just don't care about them knowing.


More of my friends know that I am Bi and I have found out two are too.

I Defiantly show off my furry side, its just that every one is to obliovious to know. I always wear a blue dog collar on my left wrist and i have the dog tag that says justin on my necklace, that and my paw print tattoo, i just tell everyone that i got it b/c it matches my style and it was a quick and small one to start out with.
as for my friends,3 of my best friends know im a baby furr while other friends know im a furry, i also say it on my mysapce page. and s few people at the dorms know as well.
*im just waiting until my parents find out, that will make my day, ha*
o and apparently when i get back rubs i purr, its sooo strange but true!

I've never really told anyone, because they haven't asked

my parents kinda know about my babyfur side, but they do know that i'm a furry though.

Nobody technically knows that I'm a babyfur, but my friends all know I like to act cute and silly and talk like I'm a little kid, so I figure it wouldn't be much of a stretch if they knew the whole story. Someday maybe I'll pluck up the courage to tell someone...

No one knows about either my furry side or my BF side. That being said, my mom does know i sleep every night hugging my plushie, and i dont really care about her knowing that. But I'm glad she isnt the nosy type.

Well, for those that dont know the story, I told my parents I was a diaperfur and they were all, y'know cool with it.

then came that night

I was in my room playing video games when my super sense of hearing picked up there voices as they sat in their bedchamber and more or less made fun of me. Calling me a freak. So...yeah, they dont let it show when I'm around, so I dont care. After all, if I'm not around it cant offend me!

Anyway, I've been thinking about trying to find some physical sign of my furriness...I have no decent color and I cant exactly get a tattoo.
