Darwin IV

This is based off Wayne Barlowe's Expedition Basicaly it takes place in a time period outside the book, when intelligent lifeforms are starting to colonize the planet Darwin IV. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darwin_4

Heres a more detailed overview-

In the 24th century the exploitation of the earth's ecosystem has created an environment so toxic that mass extinctions have wiped out nearly half of the earth's animal population. Most of the remaining fauna, save humans, have suffered horrible mutation. Aided by the benevolent and technologically superior alien race, the Yma, humanity begins to repair their ravaged world while simultaneously learning more about the universe around them. When an unmanned Yma probe discovers evidence of alien life on another planet, the 'expedition' of the title is sent to investigate.

The present when the rp will take place-

It's been quite some time since the first expedition, now humans and other alien races have started coloizing Darwin IV despite the Yma's instructions to not tamper with the natural ecosystem. The different aloen races have begun to create cities inside domes, or biospheres, to survive. The diffirent biospheres are as follows-

Balboa: This is the first biosphere built, it is also the largest one to date. It was built where the Balboa explorer crash landed. This is where most species arrive at when coming to Darwin 4.

Ysud and Ysire: Two small biospheres close together where the Drs. Ysud and Ysire were stationed. Although Ysire is still thriving, Ysure was destroyed by a snowstorm and has yet to be rebuilt.

Ameoba: The second largest biosphere, situated on the edge of the Ameobic Sea.

So, a group of colonists have been chosen to establish a new biosphere in an uncharted area. You can be a human, a furry, or an alien species. A human or furry can have up to three physical and/or mental mutation, due to the earth's previously poluted atmosphere. You can creat any alien species you want to be also. The only thing is, that despite your characters age, they must have a mature mind, it wouldn't make sense to have 2 year olds starting a city.

His body contains a symbiotic plant from a different planet. Because of this he must be in sunlight for at least 6 hours a day to feed the plant. In return he can grow and change his body parts at will. It also gives him the apearance of green hair, since it grows hair thin leaves from his head. His hands also have mouths allowing him to produce glass from sand.
BIO: Piripi arived at Balboa not to long ago from earth, it is thought that he was chosen for the second expedition because of his inteligence in the field of botany

Appearance: This pic although he usually does wear shorts at the least.

BIO: Dylan is a special case. His mutation halted his aging process at age ten and has also done damage to the nerves in his bladder and bowels. Dispite t his though he a very accomplished scientist. He's sort of a jack of all trades knowing a fair amount in many fields. He's especially interested though in the native life on the planet.

(Is this the Darwin IV from that discovery channel special? If so then I won't have a problem with this. I've seen it quite a few times. Got it recorded.)

(Yeah it's the same. That special was based of the book, the only thing is that the Yma, humans, and some of the planet's species weren't mentioned, but you can find it all on wikipedia)

(Ya know Piripi ya might as well start this RP. I don't think your gonna get any more takers. Not a lot of scifi fans of this nature on the site. But it's nice to see that your one. Woot.)

Alex sits on a metal bench at the loading docks, waiting to see who will be his teamates for their expedition.

Dylan walks down to the loading dock carrying a case of equipment and a backpack. "Hello there you must be one of the other scientist on our little field expedition. I'm Dylan. Pleasure to meet you." He said holding out his hand.

Alex shakes his hand "Why yes, I'm Alex, The pleasure's mine"

"Well this should be intesting. I'm looking forward to getting to see some of a flora and fauna here. I really wanna get a look at those Eosapians. They may be primitive but they show intelligence. I want to study them a bit and see how a like or diffrent there development is to ours." Dylan said wondering about them.

"I've been looking forward to studying the relationship between the butcher trees and mysterious flyers" He pulls out a map "Luckily there should be a large colony of them and the Eosapians where we're going..."

"I bet that's not a coincedence. The Eos probably savenge a bit from what the killer trees get. They're smart and from what I've heard fast." Dylan said as he took a seat and mildly cringed at the crinkle he produced as he sat.

Alex heard the crinkle, but disregarded it as coming from himself "Hey! Looks like our transport is ready!" He says pointing to what seems to be a small submarine attached to a blimp.

"Nice. Kind of reminds me of one of those old probes they sent here waaaay back." Dylan said as he got up and walked towards it.

"Yeah... Maybe we should nickname it like the old ones!" He said catching up to Dylan.

"How about the Columbus?" Dylan suggested as they boarded it.

"Hmm... I like it, Columbus it is then!" He said boarding the vessel.

"This is defiantly going to be a cool trip." Dylan said as the transport rose and began it's departure.

Alex looks at several charts "Looks like this trip may last a while, good thing we have plenty of 'provisions'" He was refering to his diapers.

"Yeah. And thankfully this thing has a net link too." Dylan said as he wet his diaper a bit more from the milk he had at breakfast. "Oh I wonder if my 'Assistant' Was loaded like I asked." He said as he got up from his seat. "It should be in the cargo bay. Wanna come with me and check?"

"Sure..." Alex said, rising from his seat to join Dylan

Once in the bay Dylan finds a large crate and opens it up. A drone looking similar to the old Probes hovers out. This one however is much more streamlined and far more intelligent. "Greetings. You must be Dylan's partner on this trip." It said looking at Alex.

"Yes, I'm Alex. You must be Dylan's assistant." He said, slightly bowing from the waist.

"Affirmative. I am Apha. A Pleasure to meet you. I notice you and my master have a thing or two in common." Alpha noticed upon picking up the scents of two diffrent diapers.

"I see..." He said, starting to smell Dylan's diaper as well.

"Wait a sec you mean me and Alex are both......" Dylan stated but then trailed off.

"Affermitive. You are both diapered. And from my readings slightly damp. Though nothing to warrant immediate change." Alpha said with a hint of a laugh in his voice.

"Well that's a load off my mind. Least I'm not the only one. Yeah if ya need a change just ask Alpha here. That's Part of why I got him." Dylan said patting the robot.

Alex chuckles slightly at the idea of "load" as being a pun "Glad I can be open about my usage of diapers, I prefer wearing them without pants myself but most people are repulsed by it."
