Riku smiled pulling out a switchblade knife he tossed it into the floor " prove it" riku took off his coat and shirt showing a scar going from his belly button around his back ending on his shoulder "stab me"

Appon seeing this Tommy froze for a second. He then started shaking seeing the knife on the floor. He then saw images of his dad comeing at him with a knife.

Yuffie walked in seeing the knife she quickly snatched it up and put in into her pocket " whos knife was that?" she asked sternly

"hand that over old lady" riku snarld

Yuffie grabbed Riku by the scruff of his shirt and bent him over her knee she started to paddle his bottom " i....am....the....caretaker...not.....u...u...litttle....brat" five minuets later she stopped and took riku by his ear to his room

*max chased after and yelled at the woman*

Hey! THATS MINE TERRITORY YOU BITCH!
*he paused, realizng what he just said*

Yuffie sighed pulling max over her knee she started to tan his rear " i...am not...a bitch...." yuffie picked max up and carred him to his room

Tommy was hiding behind his big Teddy in the corner during all of this. It reminded him to much of when his parents fought. And of that night.

yuffie walked over to tommy picking him up gently she cuddled him close " dont be scared" she whispered

Tommy snuggled into her shaking a bit. But feeling a lil better. "Fanks." He said almost whispering it.

"your welcome" she said

Tommy rested his head on her shoulder now starting to calm down.

yuffie rubbed his back comfortingly

Tommy smiled snuggleing close. He eventually fell asleep in her arms.

yuffie gently layed tommy down in his crib giveing him a plushy to cuddle with

Tommy smiled in his sleep and cuddled his teddy bear. He then sucked on his thumb and drifted deeper into pleasant dreams.

*Max stormed back in, laughing quietly as not to wake his little buddy, he was laughing at the new caretaker, mocking her*

Was that the best you had? ha...pity..*he laughed a bit more and acted as if nothing had happened, turning his nose up arrogantly and walking out*

" do you realy think that will help u" yuffie said "whats out there for you...nothing here you can be safe and warm"

*he turned around, still with a mock smile, trying to show her he has no respect for her now*

"Yeah right, like I'd leave." "For your information, I happen to be staying here because I care about him! *points to the sleeping tommy* "I happen to actually care about him, and I refuse to leave him, even if he didint want me here!" *he scoffs* "even so, I survived out there since I was three years old. On my own, no one to help me. Dont think I cant do it again."

" i know exactly how hard it is but back then there was no orphanage so i lived out there untill i was 18" yuffie looked genuanly sad

*looks at her oddly, his expression softened*

"I'm here because I got caught stealing food to eat. My plan was to just leave right after I got in, but I met tommy and I feel like he needs someone, another kid, that cares about him. He's really cool, and now I feel like I cant leave.....I dont know what this feeling is called...I've never had it before.

*he looks at her quizzicaly*
Whats it called when you care about someone so much you dont want to leave them, and you want to take care of them?

Riku layed on the bed silentley crying what yuffie had done brought up very bad memorys as he layed there he wished he had his knife to help him forget this inner pain with outer pain

Tommy snoozed on largely unaware of the happenings around him. He had pleasant dreams though for once. He dreamed about a bigger kid. Maybe a brother. Then he realized it was Max he was playing with. He smiled in his sleep and said softly "max..bestest....bwothew."

Riku finally fell asleep he drempt of his home riku thrashed on his bed falling off of the bed he took the covers with him

"thats called love...its what i have 4 all you kids" yuffie said
