Sonic!

I know there are plenty of Sonic the Hedgehog fans on the site, but what do you all think of the original games? I dug out my old Mega Drive/Genesis this evening and played all the way through Sonic 2. It's a fantastic game! I've had it since it first came out in November 1992 (I was 16, a lot of you guys were little babies - sigh, I feel ancient) and I remember how exciting it was back then. It's stood the test of time, too. And Tails is still adorable...

I know how you feel Zee. I dug out my Zelda game from origanal NES. I was 12 when I got it. That be in 1990. How time flies.

Agreed. And we weren't all babies. I remember playing it back then. True I was a lil kid but I still loved the sonic game and still do. I have an old Genisis in my room with a sonic game or too. Sonic was and still is a great game and characters. And I agree. Tails is adorable.

Ahh...memories. I still have my Genesis and my original NES. I should dig out my copy of Sonic 2!

Iunno why but I never seem to be able to re-connect with old games, although I always found sonic to be the exception, not that I could ever beat it I actually remember that game coming out kinda...with the gamegear out as well, hehe. Good times. I always wanted to steal my cousins Sega... yup, Tails is still adorable too

I used to have a Sega Genesis. Still do actually but it broke.

I have a Gamecube though and I bought that "Sonic Mega Collection" thing which basically had Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles and a few other games (apparently there are unlockable games but I didn't find them yet). Anyways, I used to play Sonic 2 all the time with my younger brother. He'd want to be Player 1 to be Sonic and I basically just let him because I just preferred Tails.

When I played alone, I'd always just use Tails.

i think that the older systems are the best. i bought a super nes of ebay 2 years ago and it's one of the best game systems that i've owned, that and my n64

I loved the sonic series, I used to play 1-3 allllll the time when I was really little. I beat all those old games so many times, because I have always been and always will be an ub4r gamer xDDDD.

I think that all the old consoles were the absoloute best especially the SNES. My all time favourite games ever, and will forever be Super Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong Country o.o.. I played those 2 so many times I knew every single secret xDDD
