Well, unfortunately we made that choice when we ended open enrollment. I guess it's a matter of whether you want a large, active forum like FTT where you have to deal with constant trolling, or do you prefer a smaller, more peaceful setting like we have here? I guess I can deal with a quiet spell or two. *pouts*

| The fact that we act more as a community where we do know each other is admirable and to me is more of a preferred route but the fact of the matter is that we must judge the fact that the ratio of active members to the stagnant ones is perhaps 1:3. We may have a little over 100 members but in reality we truly have about 25 or 30 active or contributing members that affect the progression of this forum/community. It is perfectly okay to limit who and who cant join if we arent careful we may limit it too much and eventually isolate it completely which would only doom it to extinction.
All in all I am not trying to make our situtation seem hopeless...just we as members should do everything we can to help progress the forum/community to allow our experiences here to be all the more enjoyable.

| Hmm... to be honest, I do agree that it's been quiet around here for a while, but in all honesty, I really don't think I mind the environment here.
I mean, FTT is like a big party room where the music is constantly blowing, and though it's not a bad thing, I do enjoy a quieter environment such as this one. I like the peacefulness.
It wouldn't be a bad thing that more people join, but I think that as long as those who do come here don't stop, it should be fine. I log on at least once a day.

| Hey Guys. Sorry bout the slowness today I was spending it with my dad. As for the slowness well we had periods like this even before the new policy. It's just one of those natural forum things that happens. As for our active member ratio well same goes for FTT. There number of active vs inactive is pretty much the same. More inactive members then active. Frankly though I think the site's been picking up a bit more considering there's been more posting recently in the stories, art, general, and random sections lately. Anyway I'll do what I can to get things moving along and try to come up with some new, fun RPs. | |

| Well, speakin as to the fact I've been a part of here a while, I'd say it's on a rise, everyone's at least talking and we have pretty nice members, and I do agree with what FFF said about FTT, it's kinda just an open invitation for mayhem | |

| Besides, FTT's community is more simply DL in general, where I see alot of non-furs or people who focus mostly on diapers. Even thopugh Furr den is friendly to all that FTT is, our population is predominantly babyfur. This is another reason I kida quit FTT | |

| I've recently going to FTT again, but honestly, I still see the reason why I originally left. the thing is, I find that there is just too much tension there.
It's like, here, yes, it's a small community, but it's one community. At FTT, there's like, cliques and niches and goodness knows what else, and worst of all, you feel the tension not only between the groups, but within the groups.
So yeah, I look at the artistic group there, try to learn what I can and try not to get caught in the middle of something.

| There is only one reason why I will not go to FTT. I do not like to be attacked by the trolls on there. It seems like more and mroe people complaining about FTT. It is just hard to look at that site, and says, what happen, it was such of a peaceful site in the past, and now, it looks like it needs help in the major ways. | |

| I agree with poco. Besides from that, there are far too many ythings going on at once.. if you look at the activity over the course of a week its pretty crazy. Asides most everyone knows everyone esle so. So we're more like a close family. | |

| ive seen a difference in the 2 years ive been on it. when i joined there were only 80 members. mugi was one of them back then and for a very short time a mod (god help us!) i think lig joined a little after i did and i still find it a nice site. but we have now entered another phase forums go through... 'the invaison of the grammar nazis' as well as the occasional moron who tries to boost his post count with worthless threads
not to mention whenever we get a troll attack we end up with a thread demanding more mods and god knows how many people nominating themselves for mod-hood (including some people on here i have to add) most of them hadnt been on the site long anyway. why do they even try? nominating yourself makes you look like a fool and proves you shouldnt be a mod (to be honest im still trying to work out why lig made me a mod on here Xp)
but despite all that its a better site to post your stories on. if you can get around the gammar nazis you can get some pretty good feedback from them and it weeds out those who dont even try to write but think it'll be a hit anyway (example being someone who writes a paragraph and thats it or some cheesy story from a RP). but again youve got to be able to handle the sarcasm and the abusive t**ts on there. to be honest the last time i posted a story on TFD all i got was butt kissing and no real feedback
but anyway while FTT is bigger it pays the price of having a open boarder... like most immigrants in the uk they come to do f**k all and get paid for it and/or blow something up. where as on here its more tight knit, theres not realy any trolls or mugi's (unless you count me sometimes Xp) on here
well im not gonna say one thing caus ill upset a few people including one of the admins. but whiles its better on here size wise, theres still alot on others sites that this site cannot contend with

| True there are some sites this one can't contend with and well. I don't mind. I'm not trying to make it a contender. Just a fun site. And yeah sure things are slow around here RP wise for now but we always get slow periods. Anyway over all this sites good and so is FTT. Both have there pros and cons. | |

If you ask me, Liggy, this site can compete with any other babyfur site out there! And win! And it's all thanks to you for creating it! *hugs*
