Mercury smiled, "Poetic justice at it's finest." He remarked. "Never done anything to that extent. But I've diverted supplies, and snuck the occasional passengers."

"Yes. Usually my exploits are more tame. Same as you diverting supplies and smuggling some passengers. Sometimes when my services as a smuggler aren't needed I'll take a job escorting Evac vessels. Usually it's a cake walk. Usually." Joren said remembering a few instances where they got swarmed.

Mercury smiled, "I can imagine, been through my share of scrapes." He pointed out on a datapad the modifications to the ravens design. "Helps to have some extra firepower on occasion."

"Ah very nice. Yeah. My ship's pretty well armed as well. And the hull armor can actually repair itself using micro replicators. Dual layer shielding. One layer goes down the other should hold long enough for the first to regenerate." Joren said brining up some of the specs on his own vessel.

Mercury grinned, "Very imperssive. Have to remember to ask you about the regeneration equipment." He said. "My sheilds are generated by twin generators for a simmilar effect. And hull armor is designed to redirect beam weapon energy to increase the ships power supply."

"Oh that's interesting. So your hull essentially acts as a capacitor. Sounds pretty useful. We must swap specs sometime." Joren said smiling. Genuinely impressed.

Mercury nods, "Yes, I can see this as a very useful partership." He said, offering his flipper like hand to Joren.

"A very useful partnership indeed." Joren smiled and shook your hand. "I think we'll be able to do a lot of good together."

Mercury nods, "Where do you sugest we begin our mutual ventures?"

"Well I was heading to Orcan 5 next. Big shipment of supplies being shipped to Delphan. Two ships should make this run easier." Joren said brining up a star chart with there projected course.

Mercury looked closely, his people well versed in navigating 3D space. "Hmmm... Your right, plus, splitting up a load makes us a less apatizing target."

"True. Plus the fact that both of us are well armed makes a difference too. Also two ships means we can strike at two locations on a target at once." Joren said smiling thinking about possible combat situations.

Mercury nods, "Effective strategy is half the battle often." He quickly runs to his cargo bay, and brings back a hover sled to carry any supplies to his ship.

"Yes. I won't tell you how many times I was either out numbered and or out gunned by someone but still survived. Why? Because I was smarter then they were." Joren smiled following you. "We'll keep the hover sled here for now. We should approaching the planet soon."

Mercury nodded, leaving it in his hold. "Alright, are we picking up or dropping off?" He asked as he walked to his cockpit to check a few readings as they approaced the planet.

"We're picking up a load. It's going to Incantovan. The Inceto live there. They're a fairly peaceful insectioid race. But the Vardorans have been raiding there trade routs lately. So that's why I got hired to haul the cargo. And so now you." Joren said as they approached the planet's orbiting trade station.

Mercury nods, seating himself in the Time Ravens cockpit and once your in yours, seperating the ships. "Understood." He said in the very cetan manor of stating facts bluntly. "We have docking clearance."

"Stellar Lance Docking sequence complete. Opening cargo bays. Loader drones proceeding as scheduled." Joren said watching his monitors. He was chiefly keeping an eye on the dock Loader Drones.

Mercury docked the Time Raven in the docking bay next to the Stellar Lance, as always, keeping his engines ready.

After about 15 minutes the Loading Drones were done. "Alright looks like we're all loaded and ready to go. Commencing departure." Joren said as he closed the docking bay and disconnected from the station.

Mercury followed suit, his ship falling into stride along side Jorens.

"Alright setting course for destination. Make sure your defenses are primed and ready." Joren said over the comm as he got his ship ready as they moved out.

"Understood, powering up sheilds, bringing laser turrets and missile tubes online, deploying hull armor." Said Merury, ticking off each on a mental checklist.

"Doing the same. Plasma cannons online, Point defense systems functioning, dual layer adaptive shielding online. Deploying hull armor. Sensor scans to maximum. Alright it looks like we're ready. Increase speed to Warp 8. Hopefully we'll avoid running into those Vardy bastards." Joren said after going over his sensors and systems.

Mercury pushed the throttles of his ship forward and the engines pushed the Star Raven to warp 8 along the indicated course.
