Well Chimour linked me to a vid here with this guy who appears to be on of the crazy Christians. Obviously a minority but a vocal one. He thinks "God hates Avatar!" So he apparently wanted to tell us by going out and spending money on a toy from the show to burn it. Yup that's right he basically just gave money to something he thinks god hates just to burn a toy. XD Here's the original video of him doing this and bellow it is a funny rebuttal. XD

Original with guy burning Toy:

Rebuttal to said vid.

Hehe anyway thanks for sharing the vid with me Chimour now to share it with everybody. So guys tell me what do ya think? Is this guy crazy, misguided, or do you think he's right and that god really does hate this movie?

Given that I'm sure most of ya have seen my FA gallery and resulting fan characters you already know I loved the movie and think it's probably the first or second. Ok I'm leaning towards crazy but maybe I'm wrong.

Aaaw no problem Lig X3.
What's sad though is that this asshole could've donated that toy to charity or something, but instead he decides to burn it to just show us how insane he is =/.
By the way he also made a sexist video, and so I'm gonna try and link ya to Brett Keane's rubuttal of it right here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVdQk8E25C8

i dont see whats wrong with avatar. it was anawesome movie and i loved every minute of it

seems more like the type that takes things to the extreme with religion, much like my first school that banned yu-gi-oh, digimon, and pokemon cause of the fighting and monsters. they said to get rid of games that are teen rated and above, and everything else. you'd get in trouble if you said pokemon during school.
i really hated that school and boy was i glad to get out of it

its things like this that give bad names to people

yes and no joey... trying to rid you of games for older ages at the time would be a right step... you've got to look between the lines. in my old school they banned pokemon, digimon and cards like that due to the rise in thefts but naturally they said it was because (insert random excuse here)

avatar was indeed a excellent film... but naturally the 'touched by god' fanatics will try to preach some crap about it. the mere idea of not being alone in the universe offends them for some reason or another. the evangelist's once tried to put a price on the head of the director and writer of Constantine simply because it showed Gabriel as a woman (*gasp* the horror!) and corrupt. that little display was pretty low key

most likely that morons preaching will fall on deaf ears... or someone will beat him up

i dunno, my school was overly strict. i dont play m rated games, most was and is teen rated like jet force gemini or army men

they got rid of the pokemon thing due to people getting too distracted in it but making sound like pokemon was a bad thing and everything and all that mumbo jumbo

basically they were rule crazy, making a rule for every little thing. we didnt hardly ever get to go outside except for p.e cause we were late getting back into class one time. that was it, and it was also because they hafta line everyone up single file and such making what should be simple difficult

they were always trying to make everything sound 20x worse

such as the teen rated games and such being bad and should never be played, should put emphasis on the never.

basically if you spent one year there you'd see what i'm talking about

as for that its the whole man made in God's image. and alien creatures would be the thing that are different and what not, thats my guess. i see it as a movie and nothing else. it has its message of coarse, but its still just a movie. anyone that cant tell the difference shouldnt be going to them

people take things to the extreme like this and it makes it hard for something like God to be talked about, cause that would be the first thing that comes to mind

i dunno. sometimes i wonder why peple take things so far

the game implication was based on underaged players (possibly my biggest pet peeve) but that's for another debate/argument

If someone believes in anything to a certain degree they will start to believe the lies they spout themselves. generally that leads to a messiah complex (aka when they start thinking they are the mouth of god)
