the flames died away and Riku was gone he was moveing along in the darkness to the place Ko was he stepped out of the dark near him " you know what i desire...do u not?"

*Ko looks up weekly, his entire face red and bleeding*

"Yes...and now...I'm giving it to you."

*he drops his head*

riku smiled " this will not be quick...it will be painfull" he smiled his nails growing into claws and a burning kanji appered over eatch claw " Five Pronged Corruption:" he stabbed his claws into Kos chest

Link gets between them. "Dont fight..."

*he yelped with pain*

"Ok...make it painful. I deserve it!"

Riku pushed his hand deeper letting darkness erode Ko's soul " let the seeds of darkness i have sewn in you devour your sanaty"

Link pulls at Riku's hand "Please stop!"

*screams in pain*

"a-are you happy now Riku?"

" happy is nothing...sadness is nothing all you need is darkness" he pulled his hand out of Ko and smiled licking his blood off of his claws

*Ko smiled weakly when he saw Riku's face*

"a-a Smile...now I can die happily..."

*his head drops*

Riku turned away walking off a slight smile on his lips

Link hugs Ko tightly "Stop it, please!"

*Ko's lifeless body hung on the tree, a last tear falling onto Link's arm, and a smile on his face. His wings were outstretched proudly*

Link begins to heal Ko's wounds

Riku smild and turned around looking at him drinkingin his despair " he is dead and gone"

"No, hes not" He puts his hands on Ko's chest. "Spirit energy transfer..."

*Ko's body began to glow, an astroprojection appeared next to Link, placing a hand on his shoulder*

"ssh, its ok now Link. I died happy, and I am in a better place. Despair not for me"

Link continues to cry. "You cant be gone!"

Link draws a symbol on his chest, then one on Ko's forehead. "I not let you die!" He actives the seals and Ko's soul would go back into its body. Link falls over, coughing up blood. He had given his heart to bring Ko back.

*Ko shook his head and everything was normal again.*

"Link, you cannot give your life to heal me. I must go in body, but I will never leave you in here."

*the soul touchs Link's heart*

"I love you brother, but do not die for me."

"Damn you Riku... If I left Riku to die, Ko would still be alive... Its all my fault!"

A diamond hard strand of hair wraps around Ko's astral throat. Lucien limps towards the group, holding the other end of the hair with his uninjured hand.
"Lets get you two back to your respective forms.." he growls with an annoyed and pained expression, a similar loop of glowing fur dropping over Link's head, "No one dies, not before me."
Lucien takes Ko's body and begins to mend the wounds as best he can with suturing, and sterilizes the wounds with some medicine from his waist.
"One thing, This won't work if you don't want to live." Lucien mentions to the captive spirit.

Link stays quiet

"If you cooperate I can revive you, if not, both your friend and I will suffer the price, and die as well. " Lucien says with a sly grin, tightening the loops with a jerk of his wrist, "Simple really, we all live, or we all die."

*Ko nods*

"Very well."
