Another birthday pic! Funnily enough, Xenon the Twilight Knight and Kiru the dragonish thing were both born on St George's Day, the feast day of the patron saint of England, who was a knight who killed a dragon. So I had to draw this:

Wow, it's been a month and a bit since I last had a chance to scribble! So it's been fun to spend some time today doing the promised gift art for Raikan and DS.

And here's Alvin and the Chipmunks, classic style (I don't like the look of the new movie at all) taking care of Zee-Zee, Poco and Tavi:



Perspective was a real problem with that one - in the cartoon, Alvin, Simon and Theodore were smaller than humans but bigger than normal chipmunks; Tavi's a Disney munk, so he's normally tiny, whereas Zee-Zee and Poco live in a world where all species are roughly the same size. So I figured I'd upsize the chipmunks to that kind of scale too, just to make things less strange. But I think I overcompensated on Tavi and made him too big...

Actually, I had a friend who always made it a point to eat gingerbread men limb from limb and always leaving the head last. Go figure >.>

Cartoons, in no particular order of preference are Baby Looney Tunes (who doesn't love BLT?), Thundercats (I really, really wanna be Wilykat when I grow up), Pants Pankuro (bizarre Japanese potty-training cartoon) and Bimbo the pup (Max Fleischer studios, early 30s - possibly the weirdest and funniest cartoons ever made).

Neat! Bimbo cartoons WERE utterly bizarre. I don't think anyone shows them anymore. I haven't seen one in years.

This is a quick doodle for a couple of friends on FA who I've never drawn before. But since FA is still dead, I might as well post it here. It stars Ozzie the skunk, who loves chewing his blue socks, and Bobcat the kitten, who has bright blue hair. Ozzie got a bit confused.

Ozzie is a skunk anyways but does chewing on all those socks make his breath smell like feet?

Nah, Ozzie smells nice, he's a very unusual kind of skunk. Well, except when he's got a messy diapie ^.^
