Zee-Zee's squirrel scrawls

The Wet Rabbit on FurAffinity commented on my Xenon picture that the sign on the door should say something more furry-specific than 'boys'. I suggested 'cubs' and 'cubbettes', Wabbit liked it and this picture popped into my head.



I drew this one last weekend after watching the rugby world cup final, but thought it sucked and didn't want to post it anywhere. But I figured that was silly - all my artwork sucks, after all, and it would be more sensible to ask for constructive criticism. Zee-Zee watched the game too, and then dreamed that he was playing in it. This is the part where he realises that he's a very small squirrel and rugby can be quite a rough game. But don't worry, after this he runs between the flankers' legs and scores the winning try.

Yikes! Poor Zee-Zee! What team are the lions on?

South Africa - they beat England 15-6 in the final. They should have been springboks, really (that's the team's nickname and the national animal of South Africa), but I wanted something big and menacing-looking.

Nice pics ZeeZee very funny. Not a fan of Roby but that's still classic. I watched one game when I was at the college and well it was England Vs the USA. Well at first it was staying fairly even then England sorta jumped ahead points wise and we lost horribly. Oh well. We still rock at foot ball. A game only one other nation plays. LOL.

Thanks, Lig! I watched that game too - it wasn't a very good one, both teams played badly and a lot of it was pretty boring, so it wasn't the best introduction to rugby for someone who isn't a fan

You know, I've just noticed those bathroom doors have hinges on the outside and no handles to pull them open with...

Another quick friend-I've-never-drawn-before doodle - here's Sirius! Zee-Zee wants to be just like him, so he's found a pot of black paint and made his glasses look a lot cooler. I don't think he's really thought this through...

*chuckles* I just love Zee-zee's expression in this, hehe. Yeah, Zee will look cool...but that will be canceled out my bumping into walls and tripping, hee.... Cute work buddy, I love it *slorp*

I still have plenty of friends I've never drawn before and want to get round to doing (Knuffy's next on the list), but then someone suggested a follow-up to a previous picture in which we see that Zee-Zee didn't quite make it to the potty in time. Poor little guy...

Here's an illustration of the big soccer game from the daycare RP - diaper team Kiru, Lig and Zackie against potty-trained team Zee-Zee, Xenon and Sirius! First time I've ever drawn Kiru and, well, I'll do it better next time (still owe him a friends-I've-never-drawn-before pic by himself)

Thanks, everyone! I'm glad you like the colours, DS - I did try colouring with photoshop for a while, but I decided it's just not as much fun as using coloured pencils. And if I go over the lines occasionally, well, it just suits the style of art!
