"Don't be afraid, little one." Nym's mind says. "I'm talking to you with my thoughts, What is your name?"

Haku calms down. "I-I'm Haku."

"Well Haku, I must ask. What are you doing in my house?"

"I-I needed to find shelter for the night..."

Nym knew where Haku was and phased into the garage. "Ok, you can bunk with my brother and me." He said as he and Haku phase back into his own room.

Haku seemed to jump at the sudden movement. "T-thank you."

"It's not a problem at all." he says and sets him down on his bed. A soft crinkle is heard. "So where were you during the Esoth attack? The council ordered all cheildren to connect to the central computer." He asks and sits as well. Crincling is head from the dragon when he sits.

"I no hear about dat..."

A frown crossed Nym's face, "Odd, everyone should have heard it. Let me see somthing real quick." He moves his hand to the back of the Neko's head and parts his hair. Surprisingly, he didn'd find an import link like everyone had (Like the Matrix). It was given to humans and Rakon alike when they were sent to school so their brains could recieve information from the central computer.

His ears lower, "something wrong?"

"No, nothing's wrong, but I'm just surprised you don't have a menta link."

"I ran away from dat..."

*peeks in* "hey bro are you hungry, i could make some thing up. Oh who's that? and how did he get in??"

His ears lower "H-hello..."

"Drake this is Haku. I found him hiding in the garage. Haku this is my younger brother." Mentally, 'I don't know much about him. But he doesn't have a menta link. He may be an orphan."

Haku mews. "Hello" He yawns slightly. He looks up at Nym.

"Ya tired there, little guy?" He asks.

He nods "yes"

Nym smiled, "Ok, let's get you to bed." Mentally pulling out a spare matress, pillow, and blanket, he has them set down in the center of the room. He puts Haku down and tucks him in. "Goodnight." He says.

He purrs, curling up. "Tank euw. Goodnight..." He said as he fell asleep, his thumb in his mouth.

Nym smiled and quietly left his room. Shutting the door behind him, he sighed. "That was unexpected." He said.

"i would say so, and there is the fact that we have no idea where he came from." *folds his arms across his chest* "what are we going to do with him Nym?"

Haku continues to sleep peacfully.

"That's the million dollar question isn't it?" He jokes. Nym pondered for a while. "Well it's obvious that we must take care of him, at least for now. In the morning, I'll run his name through the databanks, if there's any family, they'll be looking for him."

He walks out of the room an hour, rubbing his eyes.
