Stronghold RP

Storyline: The year is 2250. Humanity has colonized beyond the milky way galaxy. Colonists board starships loaded with everything a human could need on the planets that they are destined to rule. However, this is the story of how a tragic event turned into the beginnings of a miracle.

One starship loaded with about 1000 humans took off on a three year journey to the planet Cypher Prime. On its way, the starship was catastrophically damaged when it passed through a previously undetected magnetic field, erasing the coordinates of Cypher Prime and causing the ship to crash land on an alien homeworld.

The starship made it down with out casualties, and the humans inside awoke to find that this planet was not the one they were supposed to be on. To add to their shock, the aliens that they encountered were far more advanced technologically, telepathic, and thankfully friendly towards the humans. The aliens known as the Rakon were humanoid in appearance. Tall, gray skin, bipedal and gray eyes. Time passed and the human colonists and the Rakon lived in harmony.

The humans found Rakon technology amazing. To educate their young, the Rakon cybernetically linked them into a supercomputer and all their knowledge was downloaded into their brain. When humans tried this, there were some unexpected results. Some humans DNA was mutated and they began to morph into what were known as anthro creatures.

Around the same time, The Rakon noticed a blip on their long range sensors, another alien race had sent warships to invade the Rakon homeworld. Now the story begins. Choose your character, and prepare to defend your new world against a hostile Alien race.

Bio: Nym is a third generation human and is one of the only dragons on the Rakon homeworld. He's an optimist and a clever speaker. With his psi abilities he makes a good commander.

Bio:Spencer is one of only a few that turned into anthros of such an ancient breed. He's quite intelligent and robust for his age. He has no qualms against technology in any way and even has various cybernetic implants. As for his diapers he wears them due to a biological need. But due to the kind of diapers available and his own biology he can go a while without a change and not be bothered at all.

Nym exits the Rakon council chamber and see Spencer waiting for him. He sighs, "It's official. The Esoth are in close. Sensors have detected at least thirty major warships and their drop pods should be landing within a days time.

The council will signal the call to war in a matter of minutes. And all children will be plugged into the main computer. (I'll explain about that shortly.)

"War has come. Well we better railly the people and get ready. What do we know about the enemy? What are there motives for starting this conflict?" Spencer asked as they walked. He was already running some battle simulations in his head.

(The Esoth are like orks from warhammer 40k) "They thrive on war, it's their reason to live. Our planet is just another battlefield to them. We know that with Thirty ships in orbit they'll have hordes of sholdiers on the ground." He paused and looked up to the now sinking sun.

"At least with the children pulgged into the main computer, their combined intelligence will command the automated turrets and the pit traps. That and it also frees up all the men and women to fight." Nym says as both of them walk to a nearby armory.

"I say we should use any ships we have and try to intercept some of heres and take them out. Even if we only take down one ship it might make a difference." Spencer said with a sigh. "You say these guys are warriors right. Love to fight. They have any code of honor to them?" Spencer asked. If they did that might make battle a bit more predictable. And also give them something to exploit. Spencer had no hang ups about fighting dirty.

Bio: His body was was altered at the crash or at least the ancestors of his did. He was mixed because of his parents and is in the fighting unit with Spencer and works together with him for great results for protection and offense. Hes very happy most the time and very inquisitive

"War? When?" Rezz asked overhearing the conversation they were having.

"No their ships are are clustered together and anything we send uo there would be destroyed. As for a code of honor...They follow their warboss, that's it. They have no code of honor." Nym said as he grabbed a plasma pulse rifle and several power clips.

"Well then this should be interesting. I think I have a few ideas to cripple there vessels once in orbit though. Sure there tough on the outside and stuff. But what about the inside. It's my experience that most warriors like these are not the best techs in the galaxy." Spencer said grabbing some energy blades and a long range sniper rifle. "Modified this rifle myself. It will pierce anything's armor and shields. Just a matter of knowing where to hit."

"Hmm, good point, but I'm not sure if our ship's...wait It could work, the new plasma bombs have a phaser attatched to them." He concentrates his psi energy and sends his suggestion the the High councilers.

"They agree, it's worth a try." He says grabbing a rucksack and a case of synthskin.

"ooooo so there is a war coming,"Rezz said interested.

"Your talking about putting a bomb on there ships eh. Good idea but not what I was getting at. These warrior guys might have strong ships and all but I'm willing to bet there systems could be hacked by some of our techs. This could make your job with the bombs easier. We hack there systems and the shields go down making it easier to get the bombs on board." Spencer explained putting on a battle vest and a personal shield unit.

Nym flashed a razor sharp grin. "You never cease to amaze me. I guess I'm more suited for ground combat tactics." Focuses again and contacts the operators of the computer cores. Sending the plan, he also contacts Fleet command, telling them to prepare several captial ships with long range guns, and also to have an escort carrier sent up, one that will be loaded with several infiltration suits.

"Alright it's a plan, but by the time I can blow up a ship, their shock troops will already be on the ground.

Rezz decided to hop in here,"I can take care of them," Rezz said with a delighted smile at the option to use his skills

Nym was glad for the youth's enthusiasm. "Just try not to get too close, they can't shoot to save their lives, but if they get close...let's just say it's much more difficult.

"Not a problem. Once the ships are disabled they'll have no back up and real command structure to speak of. Taking them out shouldn't be a problem." Spencer said smiling. He prided himself in being a good tactitsion. "Sure Rezz your good with Ground troops. Send em our regards. Hope they like hell. They're gonna see it soon."

Rezz growled out loud and smiled back to Spencer,"Can I have some of those clones you made of me? You know the ones that can actually use the land like I can?" Rezz said smiling and working a bubble of water around him

"Somehow I get the feeling that there will be more than this, but for now let's take care of those already here." Nym said as sirens started to blare.

"Black Alert, all citizens to the Armories, Children come to the computer complex. Warriors, deploy to the walls, Fleet Command Prepare your vessels for immidate takeoff."

"I'll see you later, fight well." He said, hugging his to friends.

"Yes. Lets get to business and Let loose the dogs of war." Spencer said running off to his post. OH and Rezz. Feel free to use the cloens. They're at your desposal." Spencer said heading to his station to cover the computer complex.

Rezz smiled and went quickly to Spencers lab and rushed off with the clones in tow, heading towards the estimated arival spot

As was his ritual, Nym pulled out a cross pendant and mouthed a quick prayer before flying off to the escort carrier he would be on when he infiltrated. On the edges of the sky he could see the blasts of retro jets firing. "Dammit, they're already here!"

"Ok Troops. Our Job is simple. Protect the compute complex and those inside it. We don't let a single one of those things get through! Now take up your positions and get ready." Spencer ordered as he limbed up the building and into a shaded spot that would be his snipers roost.

Zan took his place out side the Computer Center and spaced...himself out evenly around it incase he needed to put up a barrier

The greenskinned Esoth horde advanced on , "WWAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!" They cried at the top of their lungs. The leading units were small goblinoids, behind them were human sized brutes that carried axes, clubs and pistols.

The humans on the wall were horrorstruck as the wave of Esoth advanced on their walls, but soon, pannells opened up, and automated guns emerged. Most were rapid fire plasma guns, but some were the archaic slug thrower miniguns of old. When the first waves were in range, the guns opened up.

Rezz smiled sadistically and raised his hands fast a wave of earth shot at them on the ground to trip them making them easy gun targets as the rest of, well him shot the same move
