Riku gasped as he was pulled over "whats up?"

*Kumori smiles*

"I like this...ummm, would you call it a family?"

" i guess...that would be a family"

*nods and hugs them all tightly*

"I like this family...and even though I couldnt ever be a part of it, but I'd like to protect it

Riku sighed " your a part of the family Kumori"

*Kumori smiles a litle*

"If you say so.."

Riku smiled

Little Link had fallen asleep.

She picked up Link and held him protectively. "Everyone who lives here is, it's becoming an unspoken rule of sorts. And I would like that..." she said with a smile.

Meanwhile the black rose started to grow bigger, feeding off the demonic essence given off by Michelle, Riku's black wing, and the fading essence of Ko.

Riku looked at the rose and blinked "what in the world...is it feeding off of the darkness?"

"Sorry?" she asked, turning to Riku. "You say something?"

" this rose is feeding off of darkness"

*Kumori llooks at it oddly*

"I wonder if its feeding off me..."

" its feeding off of all of us"

She turned and saw what he meant. "Where did that...?" she asked, then the rose bloomed fully and a woman stepped out of it, wearing old 15'th century clothes, splattered with blood. "Momma..." she muttered, sounding half scared and half awed.

Riku lept back at the sight of the girl his wing flapped and gave him more distance

*Kumori meeps and bows low and respectful*

"M-momma, what are you doing here?" she asked, backing away a bit.

She advanced. "My darling, your father sent me to check on you and our new grandson..." she said in an obvious Hungarian accent bordering on Russian.

She hissed. "Keep away from my baby...check on me? You mean drag me back kicking and screaming! I hate you! I hate you both!" she snarled, and ran away from the group, holding onto Link as if her life depended on it.

Riku stepped infront of Michell " leave here now" he growled

*Kumori sprang to action, curling hsis body into a lliquid like, aggresive pose, standing side by side with Riku*

"Yeah! Go back where you came from and leave her alone!"

[The woman isn't Michelle, it's her mother, I haven't given her name yet.]

(we know, we're defending michelle from her)

Link had started crying.

*Kumori growled at the woman, rocking back and forth ready to strike*

"WE SAID, LEAVE! NOW!" *he barked out*

She merely laughed. "Why? I can't have a civilized chat with my daughter? Tsk tsk, no manners..."

Michelle knelt defensively behind the boys, trying to comfort Link whilst being watchful, a slight fear glowing like rekindled coals in her obsidian eyes. "I won't go back there...I'll kill her again myself if I have to...Daddy's too stubborn..."
