What a Day (A Completed Riolu Short)

*Riolu and Anthony walk in*
Riolu: Well, it's that time again.
Anthony: We know we said the writter wouldn't be making another short for awhile.
Riolu: But he couldn't resist at least getting a start to this one.
Anthony: So sit back and enjoy the next story.
Riolu: Which will probably take awhile to write as the writter should, A) focus on getting his computer, and B) work on his unfinished stories first.
*thunder rumbles, signalling the writter grumbling at his characters*
Anthony: *nervously* Anyways, here we go!



What a day

Skip looked up in slight annoyance from the book he was reading. With a wave of his paw, the spectaclesmade of ice evaporated from his nose and he got up from the comfy armchair in his shack in the back yard. He opened the door that had been knocked on and first noticed a familiar face down by his shins.

"Hiya Skip!" Zee-Zee chiruped. "Is Nate back here?"


"Nope." Skip said shaking his head. "He went to visit his buddy Sunny today. Anthony is off on a trip with Arcanine and Zoe too so I'm the only one around."

"What about Lucario?" Zee-zee asked, slightly put out that one of best friends was off with another friend.


"He was actually invited over to Raikan's with Ninetales and Absol." Skip answered. "Sorry little buddy."

"It's okay." Zee-Zee said, tail drooping a bit. Skip smiled sadly at him and then looked up at a Liger about his height.

"I think I can guess who you are." Skip said smiling a bit more brightly, offering his paw. "You must be Lig's brother Warren. What's brings you here?"

"A favor for Zena for starters." Warren answered as he shook Skip's offered paw. "She asked that since I was heading this way, I bring Zee-Zee with to play with Nate, but now what to do with him since he's gone is a mystery."

"Is your mom still at home Zee-Zee?" Skip asked.

"Yep." Zee-Zee answered, still put out by not having Nate to play with.


"How about I fly you home then." Skip offered, hoping to cheer the young squirrel up.

"OKAY!" Zee-Zee said excitedly. "But wait. You don't have wings."

"True." Skip said. "But I can make some of my own."

Skip stepped outside and began making motions with his paws. Zee-Zee and Warren watched in amazement as water began agthering around Skip's back and formed out of ice, steam and the water still there, a shining set of wings. Skip scooped up the awe-struck Zee-Zee and took off into the air.

"Wait." Zee-Zee said. "Don't I need that harness?"

"I won't be flying that high and I'm a lot more experienced than Nate." Skip answered. "That's also why I didn't diaper you first. Now hang on!"

Skip zoomed for the streets and began zipping along the roads at highway speeds. Zee-Zee whooped with laughter as Skip took sharp turns and made various rises and falls. It all ended too quickly for Skip's liking as he made a skillful landing on Zee-Zee's front lawn. Zee-Zeewas still laughing as Skip set him down and Skip couldtell that he had just as much fun as he ever had with Nate flying.

"You go on in to your momma and tell her you're home okay Zee-Zee?" Skip said smiling.


"Okay!" Zee-Zee said as he got a strange look in his eyes that often signalled he had to go but didn't realize it yet. "Thanks for the ride Skip!"

"You're welcome Zee-Zee." Skip said as the squirrel zoomed in doors yelling, "Momma! I', home and... I gotta go potty!"

"Wow." Skip laughed. "What a hello. At least he's starting to be able to tell sooner. Good for him. I'll never get why he want's that so much at his age though."

That said, Skip took off back for home to see what else it was that Warren wanted.

Wow pretty good thus far Riolu. You've improved a lot from what I first read way back. I'm keeping track of this one. ^^

Okay guys. Next scene! Short one but you'll learn a lot about where Nate comes from from this, and an unfortuante background behind Skip.

***Meanwhile***

Nate was having fun flying around the place known as Fist Point. To back things up a bit, Nate's old home, Star City, is actually a pocket dimension made up of nine different cities. Around Star City are eight Cities laid out in the shape of an eight point compass or star. Hence one more reason for Star City's name (it was always night time at Star City and despite the lights the sky was filled with stars). Nate was very happy that Zoe had to take Arcanine and Anthonyfor a check-up at Star City so he got to go visit his best buddy in this dimension. Fist Point was always interesting anyway. Each point had a focus to embetter the dimension. Meadow Point had all of the produce grown for food. Flame Point helped by transfering the fertile volcanic ash to the fields to make the crops and fruits very big. It also had all of the foundaries there for making some of the best steel. Splash Point, that jewel under the sea, was mainly a marvel of architecture but it also took the ice from glaciers above it for the dimension's freshwater. Zap Point, the city of perpetual storm, was the energy supplier to the whole dimesion. Those were the four major points. The lesser points also had a focus. Iron Point had most of the raw materials needed for building, but it also had something else. It was the developer for all technologies in the dimension. It was always fun to visit because the place was like a future funland. Mind Point was the knowlede and spirtual capital of the dimension. It worked to embetter the minds of the people with their libraries and also was home to the churches and monastaries. Dread Point was a place that no sane parent would take their kids too lightly. The place was just generally depressing for the mostpart and unthinkable for the rest. Dread Point housed the places of the dead for the most part. For the rest, their were bars and casinos to liven the place up. Not a good spot for cubs in the slightest. The last was Fist Point. It's interest, physical improvement. Almost everywhere you looked were various gyms and dojos. Most of the city looked like something from feudal Japan.

Mate laughed as he swooped and dived around otherfurrs that were flying about their buisness. Thatwas another thing about the Star region as the dimension was collectively called by the locals. Everyone was born with wings. They also had something Nate remembered being called the Angelic Heart but he didn't fully understand that one. The last thing they had was the Angelic Mind. Each furr was gifted with some sort of ability that sprung up at various ages. Ifsomeone was born without any of the three, the others compensated. Nate just felt sorry for Skip that he didn't have wings anymore. He remebered when he found out Skip used to have wings. Skip was a cub again and Zoe was giving them both a bath. She had gone off to do something so Nateoffered to wash Skip while they waitedso they could play a bit more after. He was scrubbing SKip's back when he saw the scars. Skip revealed to Nate that he had a terrible accident when he was younger and his wings were torn clean off. Nate shuddered in midair just thinking about it (and probably for another reason too). He forced his mind away from the subject and looked around for where his friend Sai was supposed to live. He didn't spot Sai but he did spot someone he remembered Sai mentioning.

"Hmmm." Nate thought to himself. "A pink Riolu. Can only be Hinata. Maybe she can tell me where Sai lives."


Nate swooped down to the Riolu that was sneaking across the roof tops and landed a ways behind her. He pulled out a mini crest Ninetales had given him before he left that would allow him to change back and forth from his normal self to a Riolu and walked up behind the Riolu to make himself known.

Another very cute story, Riolu! Yay, I got to fly with Skip! ^.^ Also, I'm looking forward to learning more about Nate and his past! Keep up the great work!

That's actually most of what's going to be reveal at present. Thanks for the compliments though Zee-Zee! I thought since you enhjoy flying so much you should try a real pro. Skip was flying almost as soon as he could walk (he was certainly swimming before then)! Nate is fun to fly with but Skip is a good way to get the adrenaline pumping. He's always just careful enough though. He's laid back without being irresponsible (seems a lot like a squirrel in Zee-Zee's family on his mother's side).

Riolu: We hope that Lig doesn't mind the second scene of this update.
Anthony: It's been floating around the head of the writter and he just coudn't get it out.
Riolu: This is what the writter pictures would happen when Warren and Skip would meet when they are alone.
Anthony: We also apologize for the short sceen with the pokemon. The writter got a little stuck as to what to do on this so he set it up at least.



***Meanwhile***

"What in the world just happend?" Lucario thought in bewilderment as he examined the scene before him. He Ninetales and Absol had decided to visit Raikan that day, just to chat really and get to know each other a bit more. Since nobody else was home (Sirius was off with friends), Raikan had offered some sake to everyone. Lucario had declined due to him believing himself to be underaged (he was only 16) and Absol declined as well since he didn't like the smell of alcohol. Ninetales however had accepted. She had one glass and Lucario saw her Aura change drastically. Apparently Ninetales had a very low alcohol tolerance as the one glass got her drunk! It must have hampered her judgment as she started slurring something about babying Raikan. It messed with her aim as well because now in the middle of the living room was a baby Vulpix.

***Meanwhile***

Skip landed outside his shack and saw Warren leaning against it. Skip walked up to Warren and smiled apologetically.

"Sorry I took off like that." Skip said. "Just wanted to make sure Nate's little buddy got home alright."

"No problem." Warren said smiling back at Skip.

"So you wanted something else right?" Skip asked.

"Lig mentioned he heard you say you were a blacksmith and you made swords when you guys had that party." Warren said. "What kind of swords? I want to get Lig something cool."

Skip smiled even wider. "Step inside my office," he said. Skip led Warren inside his shack feeling very excited. He was finally going to get his first commission!

Warren meanwhile was looking around the shack. There were several bookshelves, a computer desk with an odd multi-screen monitor, a very comfy looking chair in the corner, and something that interested him, a changing table.

"You can try some on if you like." Skip offered without even glancing to see where Warren was looking as he opened a trap door under an nice looking rug. "I have plenty."

"Huh?" Warren asked carefully innocent.

"I can always recognize a baby furr or a diaper furr." Skip said. "I can't tell which someone is unless they're obvious about it but I can always tell."

"Am I that obvious?" Warren asked.

"Not really." Skip shrugged. "I just have a sense for it is all. Just a question though. How long have you liked them? No worries. You can trust I won't mention this if you don't want me to."

"It all started when I did a Pawpers commercial with Lig." Warren said.

"Ah!" Skip said understandingly. "I saw that one. Pawpers for ALL ages. That one was very cute."

"Thanks." Warren said blushing a bit. "I've just liked them ever since then."

"Does anyone else know?" Skip asked.

"I haven't told anyone else." Warren answered. "Athough I've had a close call with Lig. He grabbed one of my stash when he went to change himself. Luckily he just thought I grabbed the wrong diapers at the store."

"You might want to be careful then." Skip cautioned. "That brother of yours is a bright cub. I wouldn't be surprised if he's figured you out."

"I hope not." Warren said nervously.

"Well you can come here anytime for that." Skip offered. "Nate's not allowed in here without me and this is kind of my private sanctum. Anytime you feel like indulging yourself you can bring Lig for a play date and hang out back here."

"Thanks." Warren said.

"Now let's step down to my smithy." Skip said.

Warren followed Skip down the ladder and took another look around with wide eyes. The room was massive and there were swords hanging everywhere! That wasn't all either. There were suits of plate, chain shirts, maces, shields, and all sorts of medieval weaponry! there was also a small section containing a few Asian style weapons that Skip led Warren over to.

"This place must stretch under your entire yard!" Warren exclaimed.

"There's an entrance from the basement as well." Skip said pointing towards a door. "Something tells me Lig would like something like these."

"Oh-ho yeah." Warren said. "Lig and I are big fans of these."

"Then I'll make you a set." Skip said. "No charge."

"Really?" Warren asked in shock. He could hardly believe his ears tha he'd get swords as good as these for no charge.

"Sure." Skip said. "You're my first customer for one thing. I also hear Lig's birthday is coming up so that's another. And I'd do a lot for any friend of Nate's."

"I haven't met him yet though." Warren said.

"But Lig has and this is for him." Skip pointed out. "How does two katanas sound? Matching pair. One for you, one for Lig. His will just be a bit smaller so it's a katana for a cub his size."

"That sounds great! Thanks!" Warren said beaming.

"Alrighty then." Skip said, making a show of rolling up non-existent sleeves. "I'll get started then."

Here's another update. Just one more sceen with Nate. Next one will focus on the pokemon. Thanks to something Raikan said on FA, Ninetales might not be the only one babied. *much giggling from the characters that seem to haunt me every waking hour*

***Meanwhile***

Nate gigerly tapped the pink Riolu on the shoulder and said, "Excuse me..." The next thing he knew the horizon had become the sky and he was looking into the angry eyes of the pink Riolu as she held a paw up near his head, clearly ready to use Force Palm if need be. She glanced down just for a sec and then got off of Nate.

"I'm sorry cutie." she said. "I thought you were trying to sneak up on me. I didn't realize you just wanted a change."

Nate looked at his diaper and glared up at the Riolu. "You made me do that when you flipped me. I was gonna ask something else but now I want a battle."

"Spunky." the Riolu commented. "Okay kid. Show me YOWCH!"

Her sentence was cut off by a rapidly thrown Aura Sphere. "So you can control your Aura too." The Riolu said somewhat impressed. "Well, try umph."

She was cut off once more as Nate slammed into her with a quick attack. "THAT DOES IT!" Thanks to Nate being so close, she couldn't miss when she slammed her paw into Nate's abdomen and let loose a paralyzing pulse of Aura in Force Palm. Nate landed seven feet away and started crying.

"Oh come on." The Riolu said. "You asked for a battle and I didn't hit you that hard."

"It's not that." Nate cried angrily as he sat up (wincing as there was a muffled squish as he did so). "You made me do something I really hate doing."

The Riolu barely had to widen her nostrils to figure out what happened. "Ooops. You want a change before we continue?"

"Don't feel like battling after that." Nate pouted.

"Fine." the Riolu laughed. She thought Nate looked cute pouting like that. "If I had supplies I'd change you here but as we don't have any you'll have to come with me. I was just on my way to visit someone who's, well I guess you could say mom kind of, can change you."

"The person you're visiting wouldn't happen to be Sai now would it?" Nate asked.

"How'd you know his name?" the Riolu asked.

"He's one of my best friends Hiroki." Nate said.

"I guess you must know him if you know the name Hiroki but mine is Hinata." Hinata said. "Hiroki is a Pikachu. Now I think I know who you must be. It's Nate right?"

"Yep." Nate answered. "I guess Sai told us both about each other."

"He was right." Hinata said. "You do make a cute Riolu. I'm guessing now you just wanted directions earlier. Come on. I'll take you to Sai's place."

Woot! Very nice additions Riolu! ^^ All the characters turned out pretty well and you were spot on with Warren. Thanks a lot buddy. ^^

Wow. Thanks Lig. I was afraid he'd be a little out of character there for a second.

Here's an udate that will probably get a few laughs. Another short scene but the end I think is hillarious.

***Meanwhile***

"Ninetales?" Raikan asked worriedly. "Are you okay?"


The only answer was a small snoring noise. Lucario was wondering wether he should laugh or be concerned.

"What happened to her exactly?" Raikan asked.

"My guess is being drunk affected her aim and she ended up hitting herself with a full 9-Tail Curse." Lucario answered. "That snoring means her Sleepy curse is working."

"So every curse she put into these crests she gave us was inflicted on her?" Raikan asked pulling out the crest Ninetales had given him.

"That's right." Lucario sighed. "You're looking at Ninetales trapped within the body of an infant. She can't even undo those curses because one of her curses stops the subject from using any attacks, abilities, powers, etc. that they might have."

"So what should we do about it." Raikan asked. He was at just a bit of a loss as he hadn't gotten around to using his crest yet.

"There are two possible solutions." Absol said, tentatively walking back into the room. "We can let the curses wear off on their own as they will eventually. Or we can use a crest to undo the curse."

"I say, cute as she is, we turn Ninetales back now." Lucario said.

"You should probably do it." Raikan said. "You'd have a bit more experience than me at this."


Lucario nodded and lifted his own crest. Absol ran back out as he sensed something else bad was going to happen. He was right. There was a flas of light and Ninetales was back, but she was still drunk, and on the same train of thought before she cursed herself.

"Letsh get a Mewshtwo nishe and *hic* babied." Ninetales said wobbling on her feet. All of her tails began glowing and she swung each of them at Raikan. A few struck Raikan but they all continued and struck Ninetales, turning her back into the baby Vulpix from before. Lucario couldn't help but laugh this time as on the floor next to Ninetales was an confused looking baby yellow Mewtwo.

Here's the next scene with Skip and Warren. Will Warren end up padded? You'll just have to read and see.


***Meanwhile***

Skip picked up a strip of the metal he had prepared for the katanas he made and set it down on a slab of stone.


"Don't you need to heat it?" Warren asked.

"For some metals yes." Skip answered. "But this is a special metal. I melted down mithril and adamantium and mixed them together in a special process that not only cobined the best properties of the two metals, but amplified them. Mithril is a metal that is as strong as steel but half the weight. Adamantium is twice the strength of steel but weighs just as much. This metal is half the weight of mithril and twice the strength of adamantium."

"Woah! Nice." Warren commented. "But I wasn't really looking for something that would be actually used."

"Oh don't worry." Skip laughed. "I make all of my stuff for friends from this. And I'm going to dull the blade anyway. You'll have a hard time cutting butter with this. It can still break a bone of you hit someone hard enough but you wont lop off a limb unless you have a lot of force behind it. Force I seriously doubt Lig is capable of."

"Okay. Cool." Warren said. "So we could probably use this for mock fights then if we don't hit too hard and maybe have some padding?"

"Lig's always padded." Skip joked. "Anyways yes. If you were to have a suit of my chain on then it would definitely block any serious injury. Or you cound talk to Zoe sometime about getting something more along the lines of a heavily padded robe or something. Maybe more along the lines of a thick trenchcoat."

"That could work." Warren said thoughtfully.

"I do offer lessons by the way." Skip said. "If you guys ever feel like learning a few moves of no particular style I'd be more than happy to oblige."

"We know a bit of that anyways but maybe sometime." Warren said.

"Well that's one blade done." Skip said picking up the blade.

"What?" Warren said confusedly. "But you haven't done anything to it."

"Remember how I made my wings?" Skip asked. "I was able to do that because I can control water. Where I come from, a lot of furrs are born with a special gift. Mine was that. I used water to cut this blade. I've found that water molecules can be shaped to do just about anything I want it to do. Just let me put a handle on this blade and you can see for yourself."

Warren waited as Skip put the hilt on the katana and took the blade carefully. He was surprised at how light it was. The hilt felt like the heaviest part of the blade and even then not by much. He gave it a few experimental swings and was very impressed. It was a perfect sword. He checked how sharp it was and found he couldn't feel andything piercing his paw no matter how hard he pressed. He rumped when a pillar of ice started rising up beside him and glanced at Skip.

"Test it that way." Skip said smirking.

Warren nodded and took a step back. He grabbed the blade in both paws and swung it with a step forward as hard as he could. There was a loud clang and a yelp from Warren plus a laugh from Skip. The blade went flying off a few feet with some chips of ice and Warren was sucking gingerly on both paws.

"I think Lig would love that look." Skip teased as he grabbed Warren's wrists. "Hold still a sec."

Warren waited patiently as Skip surrounded his paws with water. He ran them around Warren's still violently throbbing paws and used something similar to ultrasound to see that nothing was broken. He transfered the water from his paws to Warren and the water began vibrating. Warren let out a sigh of relief as his paws stopped aching and looked up at Skip.

"Thanks." Warren said.

"Your welcome." Skip said smiling as the water swiftly evaporated, leaving Warren's paws completely dry. "If you look at the pillar, you'll notice there's no cut. Those chips were caused by blunt force. Thus this is as safe a sword as swords can be. The blade also will show absolutely no signs of damage. This metal is virtually indestructible."

Warren took a look just to be sure and nodded his approval at Skip. Skip smiled and said, "Let's get the other one done them."



Well, it looks like they didn't even consider the possibility this time, bt maybe in the next sceen he might. Who knows? Lig knows him better than I do. *looks at the liger hintingly*

Wow very nice. Oh and I think perhaps I should point out something about Lig and Warren which long time friends and RPers might know but I don't think you do. Both Lig and Warren actually have a special ability of their own. A white light which they can produce and use for many purposes. However primarily I've had them use it to heal or alter lil things about them as they wish.

Hehehehe. As for the hint I don't think Warren would mind taking you up on your offer of both the practice and some diapee time. Oh and as for what he'd be most likely to get. Probably padded robes or Trench coat type thing for the mock sparing. ^^ Thanks a lot this is a pretty good story. I like it. Poor Rai. XD

Thanks Lig! I do remember seeing Lig's Inner Light on FA but didn't remember if it was cannon or not. Hopefully Raikan doesn't get too upset with me over that but something tells me he wont mind LOL.

***Meanwhile***

Nate was wincing every time he flapped his wings to follow after Hinata. The messy diaper he was wearing was shifting every time he did. How Lig can like this I'll never know he thought to himself as he sailed through the air behind Hinata. Eventually, Hinata leaped from just one more rooftop and landed at the back door of a small house in the suburban district of Fist Point.

"Here we are!" Hinata said joyfully. "I'm sure Izuri wont mind changing a cutie like you."

"I know she wont." Nate said feeling a bit better at the prospect of seeing the white rabbit again. "Izuri never did mind changing me when she took care of me before Skip and Zoe came along."

"Izuri was your guardian too?" Hinata asked surprised. "Sai never mentioned that."

"I was sort of switching between her and Skip by the time Sai showed up." Nate said. "I was in the process of being adopted so I was really working hard on getting to know Skip and Zoe better."

"Oh." Hinata said understandingly. "I wish somebody would adopt Sai. He's a bit too hyper for most furr's tastes though."

"So I've heard." Nate laughed, thinking of how many times he'd heard Sai had been brought home by dragons. "It's a pity pokemon can't adopt furrs. From what I've heard you'd be the first to apply."

Hinata giggled and knocked on the door loudly. It opened almost immediately and a beauty of a white rabbit stood in the doorway.

"Why hello Hinata!" She said scooping the pink Riolu up into a craddling position. "Nice to see you again you adorable little puppy."

Hinata blushed furiously at being called a puppy in front of someone she barely knew. "Umm... nice to see you again too Miss Izuri. I've got someone here who was coming to see Sai but he needs your help first."

Izuri looked up and smiled even more broadly. "Well if it isn't Nathaniel Gittara! Nice to see you again Nate."

"Nice to see you again too Izuri." Nate said with laughter evident on his voice. "I kind of need a change."

Izuri shifted Hinata to one arm and scooped Nate up into the other. Nate winced as her paw smooshed the contents on his diaper around and Izuri winced as well. She remembered how much Nate hated messy diapers.

"Poor little guy." She said. "Are you sick? Or did you just get too much fiber in your diet again?"

"Neither." Nate responded. "Hinata hit me with a force palm and knocked me on my tail."

"She did now!" Izuri said sternly. "I've told her she should stop jumping the gun every time someone comes up behind her. We'll just have to give her a little attitude adjustment now wont we?"

"But.." Hinata began before she found a pacifier tied around her head, effectively gagging her.

"No buts." Izuri scolded as she strapped Hinata down on a nearby changing table. "I wanred you when you sent Ethan flying into the couch. You knocked the thing clean over! It's a good thing Ethan's a cat or he might not have landed nearly as well as he did."

Hinata looked pleadingly at Nate for him to say something but Nate knew not too. Once Izuri got to babying someone, there was no stopping her until she was done. Izuri soon had a very embarrassed Hinata diapered and sitting on the floor in a specially made pair of mittens that would stop her from channeling her aura out of them.

"You didn't have to go that far." Nate said. "I did challenge Hinata too a battle."

"Now why would you do that?" Izuri asked as she laid Nate on the now vacant changing table.

"I was mad that she flipped me over her shoulder and then apologized saying she didn't know all I wanted was a change when what I really wanted was directions here." Nate answered as he finally started getting his hated messy diaper clean.

"Oh. So she still did something when you came up behind her?" Izuri said.

"Oops." Nate said looking at Hinata apologetically. "Sorry. Didn't think that one out too well. Looks like you're stuck like that for awhile."

"Oh don't apologize." Izuri said chuckling. "She likes being babied. She's just embarrassed to be babied in front of someone she barely knows yet. Anyways, it's not a good idea for a furr to battle a pokemon without any powers of their own."

Nate smirked and touched the minicrest again. Izuri gasped in surprise as a Riolu took the place of the cub on the changing table. "I greeted her like this. Then I challenged her to a battle. So technically I was a pokemon not a furr."

"Oh alright." Izuri said when she got over her surprise. "Where on earth did you get something like that?"

"From that nice old Ninetales." Nate answered.

"I remember her." Izuri said. "How'd she get it then?"

"She can make it on her own." Nate answered. "She has a lot of different abilities to make anyone more cubbish. Just like you can turn others into cubs."

"She must be one of the last of the ancient Ninetales." Izuri said. "And a powerful one at that if she can make crests. I'm impressed then. It's a very handy ability to turn someone into a cub. I can't wait to do it to Sai when he visits me as a teen. That is if he can manage to settle down long enough to get adopted. I'd put a no return policy here but then if somebody tried to return Sai he'd just be forced upon some other guardian and frankly I think I'm the only one who can put up with him. I swear, that cub borders between brave and stupid with all the things he gets up to."

"Well he is a fox kit." Nate said as Izuri taped a new diaper onto him. "He's bound to be mischevious. And what's more is he's a rabbit too. They can get around. Very dicey combo if you ask me."

"Oh. And a chattery squirrel combined with a jolly otter isn't?" a familiar voice asked.

"Hi Sai!" Nate said excitedly running up to his best friend when Izuri set him down. "I see you're in trainers again."

"Yeah." Sia said sleepily and somewhat sheepishly. "I managed to get it on all by myself again."


"You are supposed to tell me when you're awake though." Izuri scolded gently. "I'm supposed to help you out of your wet diaper remember?"

"Mommy!" Sai squealed. "Not in front of Nate!"

"Relax Sai." Nate laughed. "I still wet the bed too."

"Of course you do." Sai quipped. "You wear diapers all the time."

"And you like wearing them." Nate returned.

"DO NOT!" Sai pouted, although the embarrassed twitching of his tail betrayed otherwise. Nate knew Sai enjoyed being babied just as much as he did. Nate giggled and threw an effectionate arm over Sai's shoulder.

"Okay so you don't." Nate said. "But you're still only a toddler. You've got a ways to go before
you stop that. Skip told me he wet the bed even after he was potty trained."

"Skip was potty trained?" Sai asked in confusion. "I never knew that!"

"An illness took away his training and he never could get it back." Nate answered. "Not that he tried very hard anyway. He enjoyed being diapered even then so Zoe swears he just took the opportunity to never get his training back. Skip secretly told me Zoe was right (don't tell her that) cause he never got why using the toilet was so important anyway."

Sai giggled a bit at that and felt better for having been teased. It was then that he noticed Hinata trying to hide behind Izuri. Sai burst out into full blown laughter on seing that and walked up to Hinata.

"Did you get someone "sneaking up" on you again?" Sai asked.

Hinata just nodded since the paci was still blocking her mouth. When she pointed at Nate, Sai was rolling on the ground with tears pouring down his face. Nate had to whack him on the back due to Sai temporarily stopping his breathing.

"I'm sorry but that's just plain hilarious." Sai said still laughing but breathing again. "So what cha' want to do since you came to visit?"

"Weeelllll...."

"OH MY GOSH RAIKAN!" Lucario laughed, sitting on the floor holding his sides. "You look way too cute."

"Can yous fix dis?" the baby Raikan lisped.

"Of course he can." Absol said, poking his head around the corner. "You guys aren't gonna try that again are you?"

"Nope." Lucario said as he pulled out his crest. "I'm gonna let Vulpix sleep off the alcohol in Ninetales before I change her back. As for you baby Rai-Rai (Raikan glared at Lucario for that one), it looks like Ninetales failed to get all nine curses on you fortunately. Let's see which one's she got before I start trying to reverse them. Physical Regression is obvious (another glare). I'm guessig at least minor Mental Regression if you've got a lisp, unless you were like that when you were little?"

"Not this wittle." Raikan lisped irritatedly. "Would you just change me back pwease?"

"If I undo everything I might inflict the ones that aren't on you." Lucario answered, raising an eyebrow as he noticed something very interesting. "So that's two down. It won't matter really on the incontinence curses as you're already incontinent. So let's see, can you still use your attacks?"

Raikan answered by aiming a Psychic at Lucario. Lucario shifted back a bit but that was it. Lucario did take note that Raikan did still have his attacks (just weaker with his new form).

"I see the aspect of a grumpy toddler is there from the mental regression." Lucario laughed as he shook off the pathetically weak (to him anyway, a Mewtwo still has high mental force no matter its age) Psychic. "Let's continue. No form to shift to so that one isn't afflicted. You don't look sleepy to me. Do you have full use of your muscles?"

Raikan attempted to stand up, but a strange weakness in his legs (plus the weight of clothing that was draped around him) caused him to fall right back down. "My wegs are weally weak."

"So that makes three curses of eight so far." Lucario said, smiling broadly as he thought of how to test the last one. "That just leaves Ninetales's most feared curse for punishments and pranks. The Tickle Curse!"

Raikan didn't have any time before Lucario was right in front of him. Raikan winced and closed his eyes like the scared toddler he was currently forced into being as Lucario's paws descended upon him. Lucario stopped just before touching him and gave Raikan a very light poke on the tip of his exposed tail. Raikan gave what appeared to be a very exaggerated flinch but Lucario knew it was the true effects of the tickle curse.

"Okay." Lucario laughed. "That means there are at least four curses upon you. Six possibly but the other two are undetectable. How many of them do you want lifted?"

"What?" Raikan asked increduously.

"One of them at least." Lucario said as he released the mental regression curse. "I was wondering if you wanted to be like a cub for a bit since we are here all day without anyone else to walk in. I can keep some of those on you for now. Which do you want undone? Tell me and I'll undo them."

"Welll..." Raikan said as he thought with his now, thankfully, fully grown mind.

*giggle* Baby Uncle Rai is such a cutie! I think he'd enjoy a little cub-time - he spends so much of his time taking care of the little ones, he deserves some love and attention for himself for a change! ^.^

Awwww. Very nicer stuff. Lil Rai's sooo cute! He deserves to get babied himself like that. ^^

***Meanwhile***

"Care for a bit of sparring now that this one's finished?" Skip asked as he handed Warren the newly finished Lig-sized katana. "Or would you like to do something else?" he asked with a hinting wink.


Warren blushed, knowing exactly what Skip meant by "something else". "Welll...."

"Oh come on." Skip laughed throwing an almost brotherly paw around his shoulders. "It's not like you have anywhere to be at the moment."

"No I suppose not since Lig is out with Dylan and Balt." Warren said.


"I swear those three could be tripletts as close as they are." Skip laughed.

"I've noticed that too." Warren laughed, feeling a bit more at ease with Skip. Something about the smile just made Warren want to laugh like he was a kitten again. "I suppose. Gotta protect my rear somehow."

"Want some help or do you want to do it yourself?" Skip asked smiling even more widely.

"I'm not quite that comfortable yet." Warren answered blushing. "Besides, I've been diapering Lig long enough now to know what to do."

"Okay." Skip said understandingly. "I'll give you some privacy too. I'll be waiting for ya when you get back with some armor for us."

Warren came back down with bulging shorts on. Skip chuckled under his breath for Warren being so shy about it and was tempted to use the crest he had swiped from Zoe (something he'd pay for later on he knew but he actually liked Zoe's "punishments"). He figured, "Whatever." and placed as minor a mental regression curse on Warren as he could just so he could try an old kids trick.

"Hey Warren! If you take off your shorts I'll take off mine." Skip offered.

"I'm not really comfortable with that just yet." Warren said, showing no signs of the curse having worked. Skip subtly added a stronger dose and asked, "Are ya' sure? I dare ya'!"

"Are you okay Skip?" Warren asked. "You sound different."

"Was so diffwent?" Skip asked with a lisp. That's when Skip's eyes went wide as he realized he'd been hitting himself somehow. "Uh-ohs."

"Need a change?" Warren asked.

Skip looked down and promptly forgot as kids often do in his predicament that he was cursed and nodded. "Yas. I'm weally wet. Would you change me pwease?"

"Sure." warren said chuckling inwardly.

As Warren was taping Skip's new diaper on, his paws began glowing and Skip felt the curse break.

"I was prepared for that." Warren said sounding a bit like his fellow day care provider Raikan. "Lig told me about Ninetales and her crests."

"Sorry." Skip said sheepishly. "I was just trying to get you a bit more comfortable with this."

"I realize that." Warren laughed. "Try asking next time though. I would have said sure."

"How'd you break the curse anyways?" Skip asked as they went back down for their sparring match.

"Lig and I can do a lot of things with our inner light." Warren said.

"Everyone from where I'm from has an inner light but we can't use it for that." SKip said. "Then again, the official name for it is the angelic heart. Yours looks like a combo of the angelic heart and mind."

Warren simply pretended he knew what Skip was talking about.

"So how's this gonna work?" Warren asked.

"Put on that robe first." Skip said as he donned his padded robe. "Here''s the rules."

"Okay?" Warren asked as he donned a set Skip laid out for him.

"We each use our respective powers only." Skip said mischeviously. "First one to make contact wins a round. Wait a sec. You've got some kind of contact power right?"

"Sure. How many rounds?" Warren asked as he levitated his new katana, getting excited as he hadn't used his power to any great extent in some time.

"We'll stop when we're finished." Skip said simply.

"Okay." Warren said smiling a mischevious smile of his own. "GO!"

Heehee, that'll teach Skip to use curses on people without asking! ^.^

At least he had good intentions. BTW, he'd NEVER do that to Zee-Zee. Unless Zee-Zee one day decided he wanted to be a diaper or baby fur as well. *giggles*
