"Hmmmm. Not bad. Your quite a cook I see." He siad looking over the spread.

"if you dont mind please fetch the sweet tea from the fridge while i set the table up" she sasys msilin

"You got it." He said getting it out. "Oh I see you bought the good brand. Nice." He siad setting it on the table.

she stes the food and plates out and grabs her shoulder in pain* "lets head" she says weakly

"Yeah lets take care of that shoulder first. Take a seat on the couch and remove the bandage." He siad as he unraveled his medicine bundle and took some roots and begain grind it up.

she lays on couch and removes the blood stained bandages to rveal a 2 inch deep gash by 1 inch long*

"Ouch I bet that hurt." He siad stringing out the liquid from the roots into the wound. As he did he placed his hand over it and the wound begain to heal.

"that laser even damaged me more than my own abilities could heal" she says sighing

"Well this will heal ya up. It's all natural meaning it's effectiveness hasn't been dulled by processing." he siad as the put a lil more of the fluid from the roots onto the wound as it healed up some more and finally finished leaving a dull and fading like. "See."

thats very cool" she says smilin

"Thanks. I'm not one of those nature types but sometimes nature does know best." He siad smiling as he rolled the medicine buddle back up.

she fixes their plates* eat up"

"Don't worry I will." He siad digging in. "Mmmm. You did a good job on this." He siad after the first bite and then continued eating.

she smiles with a slight blush and eats hers*

"It's a million times better then the stuff we get on base." He said eating it with a grin.

"well your welcome to come here any nighht you want for a good homecooked meal since i cook everynight" she says smilin

"Ya know I might just take you up on that offer sometime." He said smiling kindly.

she looks off in the distance* "i hate my job"

"Same here Kari. God if that human partner looks at me like a savage one more time so help. I'll show him just how savage I can be." He said hitting his fist together.

"well at least you arent the one being assigned the mostly deadly tasks" she says with tears forming

"True but then agian the crime level in the city has tappered off. Most people are afraid of myself the other Humthals on the force." He siad. "At this rate I may be out of the job."

"then i propose we switch jobs to see how we can help each other out"
