"Maybe we should go now." Franklen says softly. "I still wanna get to Thorn Valley tonight. Otherwise we'll have to sleep outside again."

"Yeah lets get moving." Nathan said climbing down.

Franklen slowly slides down the tree and stops at the bottom, looking and listening.

"I think it's safe guys."

Nods as he scurries down the tree and follows them

"Well lets get going. We wanna get to thorn valley before night fall." Nathan said leading the way for them. He occasionally looked down at his amulet and smiled at it.

Franklen noticed Nathan looking at his amulet. "What's that?" he asked.

"I've had this since I was at Nimh. The oldest Rat gave it to me. I think his name was Nickademous. He was always nice and really wise." Nathan said smiling at the amulet.

Continues on walkingcas the sun begins to set. Sage gets tired.

Franklen yawns as they press on. He's getting sleepy too. "We should be there by now."

Sage was half awake and falling behind

Nathan picks Sage up onto his back and keeps walking a lil ways. He pulls a side some strubery. "There it is guys. Thorn Valley." Nathan said smiling as they looked down over it.

Sage had fallen asleep on Nathan's back

Franklen looks down on the settlement with mixed relief and apprehension. "Well, I guess we should go down there." He looks at Nathan and Sage. "You guys can meet Uncle Timmy."

"Yeah I wanna meet him." Nathan said starting down the lil hill.

Starts to wake

Franklen follows Nathan down the hill.

After a short while they made it down into the valley. "Well I guess we should head for the center of the place and find your uncle Franklen." Nathan said as they walked.

"Okay, we can spend the night with him." Franklen looked around, unsure of where his uncle, or anyone else, lived.

"Lets head to the center of town and look out from there. I bet your Uncle's place isn't far from the center." Nathan said as they walked.

Franklen followed Nathan and Sage into the center of town. There were still a few rats around even though it was late.

Sage remained asleep.

"Maybe we should ask one of the rats for directions." Nathan said to Franklen as they walked.

Franklen nodded and turned to one of the rats. "Umm...exuse me? Um...we're looking for a mouse." He stammered shyly.

"Well that shouldn't be too hard lil guy. Only a few live here. What's the mouses name?" The rat asked.
