"Thanks Justin. That means a lot. I really am starting to like this place." Nathan said smiling.

"And what about you two? Are you looking forward to going to our school?" Justin asked Franklen and Sage. "Yes sir! Uncle Timmy said we can start tomorrow if we want to!" Franklen said excitedly.

Sage mearly nods

"Good, glad to hear it." Justin rested a paw on each of their heads. "We were just going over some plans for the expansion of the colony." he added to Timothy. "Maybe we should add some more mouse-sized living quarters after all." He smiled down at the group.

Nathan grinned. "That'd be a good idea. You rats normally build things just a lil to big for me to manage easily." He said with a bit of a laugh.

"Good, then it's settled. All three of you are staying. We'll arrange living quarters for you, until then you can stay with Timothy?" He looked at Timothy and arched his eyebrows. Timothy nodded. "Great. Good luck in school, and if you need anything I'm around." Justin Turned back to his papers with a farewell wave of his paw.

Sage had gone outside.

Franklen followed Sage outside.
"Well, what do you think? It's kinda strange being here isn't it?"

"Yes... it is..."

"Thats for sure. But it is nice being here." Nathan said smiling.

"Well, let's head home. You three start school tomorrow. Unless you had something else you wanted to see?" Timmy asked.

Sage nods and follows.

"Yep lets go." Nathan said smiling following along.

Franklen nodded too, and the four of them walked back to Timmy's house for supper.

Timmy served them up some dinner. "So, what do you think of the colony, now that you've had your first day here?" He asked.
Franklen looked nervously down at his plate and didn't respond.

"I like it here."

"Well I can say I liked it here." Nathan said digging into his plate.

Franklen continued eating in silence.
"Well, tomorrow you'll all begin school. I'm jealous. I remember how great my first time at school was." He winked at them.

Nathan laughed lightly. "Nice sarcasm but I think I'll enjoy it myself." Nathan grinned idly staring at the blue stone of his necklace. "Your mom had one of these didn't she Timmy."

Timothy leaned over and examined Nathan's necklace.
"Yes, I remember her wearing one just like that. Except the stone was red. She gave it to Justin, though." He cupped the pendant in his paw. "Where did you get this?"

"Nickademes gave it to me a day before we broke out of Nimh. I've always had this warm feeling whenever I hold it. It's sort of comforting. I'm not sure what it's for but I'm sure it was important." Nathan said looking at pendent.

"Hmm...well, my mother was never in Nimh herself. I think she said she got her necklace from the rats too. I was so young when it happened. Maybe you should show this to Justin tomorrow." He sat back down, pushing his empty plate away from him. "Well, what should we do tonight? Or are you all tired from your tour today?"
